Ciaaooo!! The third chapter of Anyplace is fine is out now on YouTube and this one is a special one!! 

It was recorded during the kindest, sunniest, most delicious trip I’ve recently taken to Vietnam. 7 cities 5 planes 3 night buses 1 train 6 homestays, many cars, many scooters, a long quiet two-day trek with a woman from a village for hours, so many people who welcomed us, shared advice, poured tea and knocked on our door with homemade yogurt. I slept a little and ate a lot and I soon realised the perfect place to capture this warm and gentle country was one of the restaurant that fill every street of every city. 

Thank you so much Mrs Thuy and Mr Bi!! Tôi rất biết ơn bạn! We walked past their restaurant and, even though we couldn’t share a language, they immediately said yes to a complete stranger! If you ever get the chance to go to Huế, stop by and try one of their delicious Bún Bò! I couldn’t stop eating even during the set. You can find them at 11A Hà Nội, Vĩnh Ninh, Huế. Thank to all the staff for dancing along!!

Playing music in a Vietnamese restaurant - Anyplace is fine Ep.3 / Isa

The fourth episode of Anyplace Is Fine is out now!

For this chapter, I chose to tap into my design background and my project spirit. I have always been very sensitive to any kind of artistic and creative production, and I ended up getting a degree in Architecture, one in Product Design with a specialization in materials, and a master’s in Retail Design. I believe that these two parts of my life, design and music, are able to communicate and to resemble one another. 

I found the same soul and vitality in Alter, a non-profit architectural collective that focuses on hand-on, full-scale construction with reclaimed materials. Reuse, for them, is a creative and collaborative act that leads to playful and unexpected outcomes. During my set, a beautiful chair and a lamp came to life. 

Thank you Baptiste, Henning, Mael, Vittorio and Yann for being on board without hesitation, for your energy and talent, and for dancing with me.
Thank you Baptiste Chatenet for sharing your space and your expertise.
Thank you Mariana for capturing every detail with your unique and gentle eye.

I am deeply proud and moved by how this project has evolved and by its outcome. I can’t wait to experience and share its next chapter.
