Misconstrued, I burn,
underneath the twigs that turn,
I'll learn,
Someday when spurning's worthless
and yearning's Earthless,

For as many generations as can be managed,
reasonably,
you see,
Someone, somewhere in the great Beyond,
will have to carry forth
an ever-loving and
ethereal time-traveller
time-traveller
time-traveller

For as many Saturn-returns as can be
expressed,
in alleles,
Some essence of me, perhaps,
will carry a wisp of
infinity,
through the cosmos,

And if retirement still isn't very 
rewarding,
Maybe the quest will
afford pocket dimensions
of rest, too.

Constellations in a Black Hole

Intersecting like a constellation
These forces in and through us
Cascade on streams of silver rivulets
In webs of time-stained expansion,

Stars are nodes of doors ajar to
deeper possibility. Bright windows
looking deeply outward into the great
within.

Each glimmering instance a soul crystal;
shards of knowledge of universes past,
echoing vibrance that pours in strands
until connecting light to light
meeting in a sandwind of smoke and shadow.

the vacuum calls out in rasps of catching,
gnashing, curling, constricting and grip-laden
plucking. Mists that carry tendril-tips 
as baby spiders rappel toward new destinations.

The void I am custodian of,
visible through papery peels of cell walls,
softened vitally in tissues worn as raiment
for a dreamtime,

it bends and wraps the lore of Earth's greater village,
through guises surface-shallow, 
organs of original-space, the proto-betwixt.

And here I paint the intersections,
pulling slack to nuance each detail of sculpted
depth. 

We fill these pantheons, each blind-cast ray
arising, to greet a frequency and intensity
that crashes, lunar in rhythm, and yet,
oddly refractional, snapping into sparks,

as we scatterplot our astral arrays of essence.

In the hollowness of this vessel we journey,
to those precontemplative muse-birthed impulses
from a before we may have traced
by leaving it behind.

Which wolf are you feeding?
The one that's at your neck?
In fear do you appease it,
Try to tame another pet?
Or do you take the other route,
The wolf who's got your back,
Watching from a distance,
The one who's in your pack?
Do you feed them both instead
And watch them self-destruct,
Or will you starve the wolves who
howl with hunger, trust your luck?

Are you master or the prey?
Will you see another day?
Alpha wolf or just a sheep?
Who takes watch when you're asleep?

2.
Open up your eyes and see
We're all in canid company
It's in our nature to devour
The weak and ill to show our power

Some are foxy, swift and sly,
Some are loyal dogs who try,
Raccoon folk are thieves at best,
Coyotes trick you with a test,

4.
Cousins of the wolves all know
The ruthlessness these hunters show
They're devils out to stalk and kill
Or warriors who take their fill,

Bridge:
Find your wings
If you don't have teeth
To bite back
When they surround you
Alert like a crow
Call out their names
From the sky

5.
Don't be herded so easily,
It's hard work to run in traffic,
You can learn the hunter's ways,
You can learn the predator's magic

The blood-lust appetite in us
Is dark and tempting trouble
So feed your inner wolf
And stand strong
Stand strong.

Hey folks, Just was thinking - too much fighting in the world without enough collaborating on how to work together against greater enemies like hunger. what if we donated like one dollar per person, eight billion people or so, eight billion dollars, and then terraformed the world's desert places where it made sense to the people who dwell therein? What if we were able to feed seven generations or so worth of hungry people due to this project? Think about what could be possible. Ask questions in your feedback songs and talk about it with friends. Is this feasible?
