After a bit of a break, Uncommon records are back with a new series of releases, and to kick things off they are proud to announce Kleu as the next artist to release on the label. Bringing their new fresh and hard hitting sound, Kleu deliver 3 banging cuts bristling with serious intent.

Kicking things is off the title track KEEP ME FROM YOU, teaming with vibes & full of old skool stabs with a fizzing bassline it solidly captures the current feel and flavour of DnB today.

PILTON SKANK, inspired by everyones favourite festival, is a feel good stomper that is designed for maximum dance floor damage. Starting off with an inspiring vocal that drops into a massive electro style bassline, it takes you on a journey thats both uplifting and deadly.

Finishing off the release is LAST ROUND, featuring Something Something, an excellent talent who captures the spirit of the tracks perfectly.

. Since appearing on the scene, as if from nowhere, in late 2018, production duo ‘KLEU’ have rapidly established themselves among the forefront of Drum and Bass’ avant-garde producers.   From their first release, on Shimon’s ‘AudioPorn’ label, it was clear that these two lads from Brighton were on a previously untrodden musical path. A string of high-profile bootlegs followed, culminating in one being featured as the introduction track on the first ever Problem Central mixtape, arguably the biggest and most anticipated mixtape in the history of Drum and Bass.   Garnering a reputation at a rate of knots, Kleu stepped up their collective game and had releases on labels like 'Device', ‘Dope Ammo’, ‘Dub Shotta’, ‘Gorilla Warfare’, ‘DnB Allstars’, ‘Born on Road’, on Mollie Collins’ ‘Right Good Records’. This soon led to the pair being signed to the legendary ‘Jungle Cakes’ label and ‘Hot Cakes’ agency.   With an unrivalled energy in their live performances, a forthcoming booking list as long as your arm, a recent UKF feature and BBC Radio 1 guest mix, KLEU are serious ones to watch out for!

Uncommon records is a Record Label & Festival Community with it’s roots in Bristol, Uk. 
The label focuses on Jungle, Reggae & Drum & Bass and is a showcase for all the musical styles represented in the Rum Shack, The Temple and The Cave; the 3 main venues in the Common field at Glastonbury Festival. 
Uncommon showcase incoming and guest producers alongside their original homegrown crew, the common factor being a shared understanding that the music and the message are inextricably linked, as is the experience and the understanding. We are an alternative community that believe that music can heal and shape and positively affect everybody. And the time on the dancefloor is the best medicine.
