Probably the best option for the Core Devs is to put the blinders on and ignore the circus acts out there.

My rundown of Consensus Hackathon 2016. My project was called "Lead Market" and I was recognized last minute by Tierion with their sponsorship prize, but I challenge you to find mention of my project anywhere in the official coverage. I was one of just two Bitcoin related projects out of 26 or so total.

The Takeaways:
- Bitcoin is DEAD
- Bitcoiners are dinosaurs
- Ethereum invented this space
- Code doesn't matter -> Talk is better
- Blockchain stack apps are the new hottness
- The more complex and unrealistic the idea the better
- IBM/Deloitte/Microsoft are totally clueless and merely here to be here
- Consensys + Ether.camp are the two major boiler rooms for Ethereum now
