But before there was light there was darkness in which this EP sets the tone.
This EP features a track from the label boss Jamie Fielding and a hefty remix from Niteplan label owner of Nitecutz.
Together the artists toured the uk and other countries in Europe and the Americas, growing a friendship and an amazing chemistry in the studio and on the decks.
Starting the EP we are bringing you the translation of what uncut gold will bring to the table. this track is a all round bad boy with trippy textured hats, hypnotic vocals and a fat baseline taking centre stage. it solidifies the heads down hands up vibe. the track has had wicked support from some of the industry heavy weights. One in particular Jamie Jones, as he's rinsed it all summer long on the terrace of amnesia to some of the most established festivals in the scene!

Finishing the EP Niteplan has blessed us with a mind bending remix, turning the original track into a slick technical roller in typical Niteplan fashion. This ones definitely going to cause a fire on any dance floor! The genius is known for cleverly placing samples showing them in there trippiest form, layered with wavey drums, textures and stabbing synths followed by percussion. As we slowly approach the double-digit on our catalogue number, we welcome an individual heading up Spain's next wave of exciting talent, Ssero. The Barcelona-based artist has collected some wicked releases over the last couple of years on labels like Deeperfect, Revival, and Moan, showing exactly why he is at the forefront of the minimal-house landscape, and he now writes his first notes on the titled 'Un Plis' EP.

The lead track opens the package with a gloomy and skippy combination of rubbery bass, granular sounds, and scattering elements, whilst 'Lighz & Chill' moves into more tunnel-ish territories with trippy drum patterns and further vocal murmurs. Closing the EP in style, ElRow frontman De La Swing's take on 'Un Plis' is a lively re-injection of congas, playful grooves, and crazy n' hooky vocals throughout.

The concept behind uncut GOLD is Jamies love for ancient Egypt and its art. This culture and it's art has faced the test of time, yet is still capitalising our minds to this day. It's art itself is so fascinating with its punchy colourful trippy yet minimalistic style. it really has its own identity and we hope to translate this into our label...
