Aleto is a Colombian DJ based in Berlin, where he started his musical career. His vision embodies strong emotions and embraces the rebellious and esoteric aspects of techno, as for him music is an entity and musicians a channel of transmission. The sharing of energy and the fusion between human, machine, consciousness and technology are important aspects.

His sound fits the highest standards of techno and stays true to its DNA, delivering exciting dark atmospheres that aim to activate a high energy flow in every soul summited to the experience, while big room kicks set a narrative line that carries you away on the dancefloor.

We are thankful for this special set he prepared for us and are excited to share it with you all. It starts with a Colombian track that truly portraits the situation there at the moment, even though the track is 5 years old. Throughout the set he unleashes a lot of anger concerning the status quo and aims to portray an apocalyptical yet emotional closing.

Podcast 007 // Aleto

Salvador Perea Villar, better known by his alias Retter is a Hypnotic Techno DJ and producer based in Berlin. Born and raised in Colombia, he has a diverse background and knowledge of music due to his families roots in drums and guitar.

His love for techno started one day when he wandered into the underground techno scene in Bogotá, Colombia. The loopy, mechanical groovy, and the rumbling four to the floor kicks never left his mind. In order to pursue his love for techno he moved to Berlin.

Although his young career, he is a force to be reckoned with. Diverse in his grooves, he's not afraid to produce and play different tempos and beats.

His groovy-old school way of Djing, inspired by artists like Jeff mills, Oscar Mulero, Adriana López, Speedy J, Rodhad, Setaoc Mass, Cleric, puts a sign in the art of minimal hypnotic techno.

Podcast 008 // Retter

DJ Bavaresco emerged from the city of Porto Alegre in South Brazil, one of the electronic music hotspots in Latin America. With her energetic and and emotional approach to music she soon rose as a relevant DJs in the scene. Bavaresco played in most of the important South of Brazil stages before launching her own Cosmic party in Porto Alegre. She never fails to bring a groovy touch to her sets, moving the floors always connected to the classic. She played in Berlin for the first time in December 2019 and is since then establishing herself as a DJ in the underground scene of the german capital.

The South African born and Berlin based DJ/Producer stands out for her energy filled banging sets that never fail to thrill her audience. As a producer, she carries the same energy from the dancefloor to her studio, creating unique and explosive beats. We're hyped to feature her on our podcast series and excited to share this mix with you!

Giacomo Raisi, better known as Jack’s trip, is a DJ & producer based in Berlin. He discovered his passion for music one day in high school, when he saw a DJ playing electronic music on vinyl for the first time. That’s where his journey into music started. 

Coming from Cusco, Peru, Giacomo started his first steps as a DJ around different cities in Italy  where part of his family is from. At the end of 2017 he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, following his passion. Once there, he started releasing his own productions and podcasts, making his way into the Danish underground scene, and later on to organize his own parties and raves.

During Covid-19 pandemic he decided to move to Berlin and started his studies in music production. Here he slowly got into the scene, starting to play in raves and following his special love for the underground. With no clubs open, once again he started organizing his own events and founded “Técnica Kollektiv”, building a community dedicated to techno.



Podcast 012 // Jack's trip

@justamicrodose found his passion for music spending infinite hours in the middle of the dancefloor, fascinated by the shapes of bodies moving like a wave following the rhythm. The pandemic gave him the push and chance to start mixing at home. Not much long after, he started playing in raves. He quickly realized that this is where he wants to be, that this is where he belongs: behind the booth. 

He established himself as an artist in his hometown Leipzig fairly fast, while in the meantime he also organized raves and parties, and started having appearances in Berlin and other places around. 

His sound is characterized by a fast, straightforward kick and rumble. In a continuous flow his energetic music heats up the dancefloor and drives the dancers through the night. His ambition goes beyond mixing and he hopes that soon he will start having his own releases after finding his new interest in producing music. Definitely an artist to watch!

UtU aka Unveil the Unknown is an eclectic producer and DJ established in Berlin. 

His travel through music started at an early age following a classical piano training in the Italian countryside, before evolving into electronic music and the art of mixing.  For his love for electronic music he decided to move to Berlin, to expand his vision and get new inspiration. After many sonic experiments and a good amount of raves he gave birth to his techno project, UtU. Berlin gave him plenty of insights and important life lessons that made a huge impact in his life perspective and philosophy.

He found a mission in combining the elements of techno music and mindfulness in order to bring the listener in a journey of self discovery through dancing. His sound is characterized by driving beats that work like a mantra, keeping the listener stuck to the dance floor while dynamic elements work as a distraction for the conscious mind, bringing the dancers to a state of trance.

Podcast 014 // UtU

@crytech_music is a 22 year old artist from Germany. He started DJing at the age of 18 and started producing two years later. Since then, he already released his first EP "The Accident is Acid" on Marika Rossa’s 
Label "Fresh-cut". 

For him, Techno means more than just music. When he stands at the DJ booth and plays in front of the crowd, he loses himself in the endless rhythms and loves to feel the vibrations and the energy of the people dancing on the dancefloor. 

His mixes are full of rhythmic pulsing basslines, hard kicks and hypnotic beats with driving synths. Let him take you on a trip you have never been before!

@djwhattis is a Swedish Berlin based DJ who likes her dance floors wet ’n’ wild. She varies between industrial hard techno, hard techno, hard dance, hard core and hard trance.

Whattis co-runs the ultrasexy and queer music platform @bleaknarrative. They recently started organizing parties in Berlin through their event series BLEAKENING, so be sure to catch her on their next one!

@atanaum grew up in Berlin's techno madness and draws his inspiration and creativity from the vibrant scene of his hometown. 

His driving sound is influenced by the trance of the 90s, combined with the hardship of contemporary techno, creating an interspace of forward movement, noisy roughness and uncompromising kicks.

@waynettewaynette is a Berlin-based DJ and Producer. The jamaican-barbadian artist started creating music in 2006. Main influences in her sound come from early rave days, from mainly attending Warehouse, Psychedelic Trance, Drum n Bass, and Hardcore/Gabber Parties. 
 
As producer her style can be described as wildly different - alternately touching on house, techno, electro and experimental tunes.  She has a reputation in Berlin's underground circuit performing at underground raves & clubs. WAYNETTE is resident and one of the core members of the Rave Atlas Family.

@tanteemmamusic was born in 1993 in a small town of Bavaria and moved to Berlin 2 years ago. Music has always been big part of her life in order to escape from reality. With the age of 17 she discovered that she is transgender and transitioned 1 year after. During all her life, Techno had the ability to help her through hard times, transform negative emotions and put a smile on her face. What she loves about raves in particular is that it is a space in which everybody is welcome and appreciated just the way they are. 

She started Vinyl DJing 8 years ago and switched to digital 6 years ago. Her highest goal with DJing is to make every listener feel their body through intense and rumbling baselines, as well as hard hitting drums. She takes her listeners to an energetic journey, always telling a story with her music.

WSX. started DJing shortly after discovering the underground electronic music scene in Halle, east of Germany. As being only a spectator wasn’t enough for him, WSX. decided to engage more with the scene, and that’s what he’s been doing ever since. 

@fckwsx has a very intuitive approach to music. When he plays, his focus is with the crowd, letting the vibe drive the direction of the set. His musical and artistic taste is not limited to only one genre, whereas his affinity for fast and consistent music is evident. In his sets he creates a distinct vibe with tense intros, distorted sounds and an energetic drive that will make you sweat on the dancefloor.
