Yemi touches down for an incredibly vibrant four track selection on the ever-dependable Four40, whose productivity seems to know no bounds. We commence with a dive into the stunning piano lines and charming vocal slices of 'Easy Living', before the interesting melodic switch ups and pitch-alterations of 'Skippy' roll into play. Next, Tuff Culture gets involved with his contributions towards the incredibly nostalgic rhythms and harmonies of 'Don't Tell Me', which also happens to complete with a personal rework dub from Yemi himself. Awesome stuff!

"Following on from a very impactful debut release, the Undagrnd Freqz team of Matt Jam Lamont and Echelon are back at it again with two more summer-ready grooves. We begin with the nostalgic sample slicing and pulsating rhythmic designs of 'Freqz Groove', which conjures up images of early garage parties with it's sliding basslines and syncopated melodic inputs. On the flip, 'Wrapped Up' deploys more fabulous vocal manipulation with catchy string plucks to add a fantastic level of variation between this and the title track, making the pair a very interesting matchup indeed. Fabulous stuff from start to finish."

Downplay is proud to welcome Australian producer Angus Green to the label with his brand new release, ‘Got To Leave'.

‘Got To Leave’ is the kind of overwhelmingly joyous experience we need right now. It packs a considerable punch upfront with an absolutely huge piano riff that feels like it was lifted straight out of 1992. A bubbling 4x4 groove keeps the action bumping nicely whilst the playful bassline brings plenty of bounce to proceedings. A future classic without a doubt.

‘Wanting’ redirects the energy of the former track into something a little more introspective, but just as powerful. Soulful vocals roll over modulated basslines and intricate percussion for a slice of pure UKG gold.

Scene legends Royal Flush step up for the remix here, taking apart the title track and converting it into a stripped-back 4x4 stomper, complete with jazzy chords and diva vocals to keep the dancefloor jumping.
