The melody for this track was made in Fugue Machine. There are two instances of the Hillman synth app panned left and right. Each of these are going through an effect called Speaker. Grand Finale is being used for mastering. 
The title was inspired by a recent visit to London as I walked through a small City of London burial ground and suddenly found that the one of many people who were buried there was William Blake (and indeed John Bunyan).

Day 30. Wanted something with a little more energy for this one. I sang do re mi and put the whole thing into a simpler and sliced it. Played around a bit and transposed a few bits and this came together eventually. Had to trust my gut a bit, but I'm glad I did.

The intention is to illustrate the passing; peacefully, into darkness, into light.

Starting with a simple arpeggio on the Vintage Vibe, running through a Space Echo, followed by a slow and mellow bass on the Moog One and a bit of space glitter from the Waldorf Quantum. Finished off with an ambiguous melody on the Moog.

The idea was to create an underground soundscape; moving rocks and lava streams, to use as a foundation for further musical expressions. When listening back to how the two channels interact with each other, and with the granular glow, I realised nothing more was needed.

I had slightly conflicting ideas with this haiku. The poem and the picture are both beautiful and peaceful, but my thoughts went to Khaled Hosseini's "the Kite Runner", which is not so pretty, although beautifully written.

The speed of the Buchla Easel 5 step sequence is cv-controlled by the envelope generator, which has a slow attack, and thus increases the speed. The result is fed through the crunchy KOMA BBD delay, with its delay time randomly controlled by MakeNoise Wogglebug. Add to this delay and reverb from the Space Echo RE-201. This was recorded as one stereo track with plenty of realtime manipulations.

To introduce some softness I recorded an off-beat string arpeggio from the Quantum, with realtime manipulations of the arpeggiator, ADSR envelope and filter.

Last but not least, to bring it all together, I added a huge sound from the Moog, also played live throughout the composition.
