Dutch drum & bass imprint Citrus Recordings has been renowned for kick starting the careers of numerous acts in the present day drum & bass scene. After releasing their last LP early 2013 they now push forward an Australian/German combo better known as Rregula & Dementia!

Having made a name for themselves with releases on Icarus Audio, DSCI4 and Full Force they are now properly focused and have been working eagerly on their latest project. This 15 track CD album could very well be the strongest release to date coming from these guys, hence the name ‘Turning Point’.

The full project will be released on two 12’’ pieces of wax and a CD. For the second 12’’ three heavyweights put their mark on the ‘Turning Point’ project creating a pair of superb remixes. Using the original version of ‘Timeline’ Optiv & BTK flip the track into a hefty stepper with a killer build up that can’t be ignored. This one is bound to inflict damage on the dancefloor!

Drum & bass stalwarts Black Sun Empire are to follow up a trio of recent EPs from The Upbeats, Neonlight and Pythius with the release of ‘Until The World Ends’ - a five-track, collaborative EP with NZ duo State Of Mind. Lead single ‘Ego’ will be released on 7th December via their genre-defining Blackout imprint, drawing an end to a prolific 2014 for the label. 

‘Ego’ immediately sets the tone for the rest of the EP, with growling bass lines and punchy synth-stabs underpining dark, techy atmospherics and vocal loops. Skittering melodics then give way to signature frenetic beats and firing drums to round off proceedings in style.

Blackout have built a reputation for curating their own brand of dark, neurofunk-inspired drum & bass over the past 12 months and this collaboration with long-term collaborators State Of Mind - who released their latest album ‘Eat The Rich’ via Blackout earlier this year - feeds into the hype already surrounding the label moving into 2015.

Under beat effect o UBE, nasce a Palermo nel 1986.
Sin da piccolo interessato alla musica, intorno i 15 anni si innamora delle sonorità del basso elettrico e comincia a fare parte di varie band di diversi generi musicali. Dal metal al punk il suo percorso come bassista lo porta infine a far parte di una band funky-fusion, che non durerà a lungo, ma gli aprirà gli orizzonti verso nuove sonorità.
Mentre cresce la passione per il jazz e la fusion, nel 2004 prende i primi contatti con la tekno e il movimento underground e il suo interesse per la musica elettronica si trasforma in amore incondizionato per la drum and bass e specialmente per la neurofunk.
Si espone come dj nel luglio 2008 dopo mesi e mesi di studio dei 2 cdj-200 pioneer (con i quali tuttora mixa) e, attivo sin dal 2009 nell'organizzazione di eventi, alla fine del 2010  fonda la crew Dnb Attack, esperienza che durerà circa 4 anni. 
Impegnato sia in eventi con artisti locali che in eventi che hanno proposto,anche per la prima volta in Sicilia, artisti di fama internazionale quali Jade, Future Signal, Roni Size, Black sun empire, Dabs etc..,dopo circa 6 anni di esperienza, oggi i suoi mix sono un insieme di neurofunk  e dnb in generale con qualche riferimento alla dubstep e alla breakbeat.
