What a treat... Token Records boss Kr!z delivers and impressive and captivating 62-track mix for this week's GVR episode.

Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. Artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon & James Ruskin had a major influence on him in the 90s. They helped to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the Techno scene. Being a respected & established value in Belgium for a decade and a resident-DJ for Belgium’ s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’, his DJ-schedule now takes him all over the world.

In 2007, Kr!z felt there was too much good music around from his favourite artists that didn’t get a proper release, so he started his own label ‘@tokenrecords’. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value in the Techno scene of today by bringing a timeless & powerful sound. In the years of its existence Token released tracks & remixes from Inigo Kennedy , Ø [Phase], Luke Slater , James Ruskin, Marcel Dettmann, Blawan, Surgeon, Ben Klock, Xhin, Sigha & Peter van Hoesen, amongst many others.

I asked him if he can provide a live mix cause i find them more interesting.
A live recording is always more energetic and I think that's how you can listen to what a dj can truly do and see the amount of skills that an artist possess. 
He thankfully said yes and what you are about to listen is the first part from his recent set in Cialo club located in Wroclaw, Poland.
As he said to me, he is playing lots of old school tracks with a good amount of unreleased stuff combined together to treat us with 1+ hour of mind-blowing music that is a perfect fit for the vision i have for the Renegade project.

Deejay and producer from Toledo (Spain).
His career begins with music at the age of 8, when he develops a spectacular creativity with the drums.

Years later, at the early age of 16, he unleashes a special interest in electronic music and takes his first steps as a dj in several local booths, where he feels influenced by artists such as Ben Sims, Surgeon, Adam Beyer among others.

Only 2 years later, he began to investigate production, defining his own sound, which he would later polish.

Shortly after, in 2014, he released his first reference under the famous label Naked Lunch and successively over the years he has been releasing music on major international labels such as Faut Section, Edit Select, Illegal Alien Records.....

His music is supported by great artists such as DVS1 , Lewis Fautzi , Oscar Mulero , Border One , Abstract Division , Electric Indigo....
