Gemo - Beatcooking Ep

Depuis son premier album en 1998 au sein de son  groupe Messbass, Gemo n’a pas chômé. Il est tour à tour MC, Beatmaker, animateur radio, sans compter qu’il crée  8Art Recordz, puis en 2000 AWC un second groupe avec son partenaire Titineboy (Grime Sin). S’en suivent deux albums et des apparitions sur nombre de compilations et collaborations, entres autres aux cotés de Manu Key, Rol K, Papifredo, Jeeltissmé, Alpha Lars, Grime Sin...Pilier du Malodostudio, en 2011, Gemo entame une renaissance et lâche sa voix aigüe pour mettre dorénavant son timbre naturel en avant, grave et lourd. 2013 Soper présente Gemo à Anakyne et c’est le début d’une nouvelle aventure, il sera résident des soirées Re-Union et Blazin pendant un an,  puis en 2014 Anakyne lance une nouvelle émission de radio sur Rinse Fm France et fait appel à Gemo pour être à ses côtés avec les autres membres du label. Suite logique de tous ces évènements, Gemo et Under Pressure Records vous offrent Le Beatcooking Ep, conçu autour de 3 faces B et un titre original.

Créé en 2001 par Anakyne & Soper, Under pressure Records a enchainé 8 maxi vinyls en 2 ans avec des artistes tels que Stakka & Skynet, Dj Skinny aka Nu Balance, Dj Friction, Nitrox (Universal Project / The Untouchables), Lynx, Deoda, Anakyne, Soper, Otis et Miss Ficel. Anakyne reprend le label en solo en 2003 puis créé dans la foulé une sous-division, New Hope Recs, dont deux singles signés FX909 et Earsut voit le jour. S’apprêtant à sortir une trilogie sur Under Pressure Recs avec des morceaux de Nitrox (The Untouchables), Lynx, Dj Flow & FX909, il fut stoppé en plein essor par des soucis de distributions. Par la suite le label privilégia les organisations de soirées avec 3 ans de résidences mensuelles au Batofar entre 2005 et 2008, où des artistes tel que Alix Perez, ThaTrickaz ou les Dirtyphonics firent leur premières scènes Parisienne. Nous nous souviendrons aussi des 33 ans d’Anakyne où plus de 30 Dj’s et Mc’s joue sur la scène du Batofar. 
Après un court passage de 6 mois au Triptyque (Social Club), Anakyne organise en 2010 et 2011 à l’Elysée Montmartre, avec l’aide de Garance, deux des plus grosses soirée d&b de ces dernières années, avec pas moins de 17 artistes pour la seconde édition, en faisant venir tout simplement la meilleure organisation de soirées D&B Anglaise, à savoir Innovation.

2012 : le label fait son come-back en digital et ces années de silence n’auront pas été vaines. Anakyne, fort de son background musical et de son parcours artistique, annonce dès les premières sorties, ses ambitions pour la renaissance d’Under Pressure Records. Le label représentera avant tout, tous ses gouts en termes de musiques… et ceux qui le connaissent, savent à quel point sa culture musicale est riche et variée. Saisissant sans complexes les possibilités qu’offre le marché du digital, c’est donc sans surprise que le label sera consacré dès lors à toute la "Bass Music", pouvant ainsi laisser les artistes s’exprimer plus librement...Avec 6 Ep mêlant Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Baltimore, Hip-Hop, House &Uk Funky, déjà programmés en 2012, dont le premier début Mai, les bases sont posées pour le retour de ce label qui s’annonce des plus excitants...The Genesis Is On...

Created in 2001 by Anakyne & Soper, Under Pressure Records released 8 12” vinyls in 2 years with artists such as Stakka & Skynet, Dj Skinny aka Nu Balance, Dj Friction, Nitrox (Universal Project / The Untouchables), Lynx, Deoda, Anakyne, Soper, Miss Otis and Miss Ficel. Anakyne took the label in charge in 2003 and then created a sub-division, New Hope Recs, that released two singles from FX909 & Earsut. After an healthy growth, he was about to release a trilogy for Under Pressure Recs with tracks from Nitrox (the Untouchables), Lynx, Dj Flow & FX909, and got stopped by a failing distributor. Subsequently the label took on organizing nights with three years of monthly Batofar residences between 2005 and 2008, which saw the paris debuts of artists such as Alix Perez, ThaTrickaz or Dirtyphonics. Another night to remember was Anakyne 33rd Birthday bash with over 30 DJ's and MC's playing on stage at the Batofar. Then after a short stint of six months with a residency at the Triptique (now called Social Club), Anakyne with the help of Garance, organized in 2010 and 2011 two of the biggest D & B night of these last years at the Elysee Montmartre, with no less than 17 artists for the second edition, by bringing just the best UK D & B promoter, namely Innovation.

2012 the label is making a comeback in digital and the years of silence have not been vain. Anakyne, with its musical background and aesthetics, announces his ambitions for the renaissance of Under Pressure Records with some exciting new releases. The label primarily represents his tastes in terms of music and those who know him, know how rich his musical culture is. Embracing all of the potential the digital market has to offer, it's no surprise that the label will be devoted to all of "Bass Music" so the artists can express themselves to the best... There are already 6 Ep (the first one coming out in May) mixing Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Baltimore, Hip-Hop, House & Uk Funky ready to be unleashed as a foundation to what announces to be one of the most exciting label coming out of France... the Genesis is On ...
