this replaces the "But The Earth Grew A Spine" sequence. instead of a moment of self-reflection and a burst of strength like in classic disbelief, this would be sans sitting down with the human and trying to have some semblance of a chat with them. there'd be talks about morality, personal experience and anecdotes, and an interrogation as to what exactly the human plans to achieve through all this violence. lets hope the human says the right things.
