under:tones is a creature born from the creative union of two Italian artists.
 
Alex Neri, DJ and leading columnist and pioneering ambassador of Italian electronic music in the world from the early ’90s till today, meet musician and producer Matteo Zarcone and together they create a timeless electronic music project.
 
Dreamlike images translated into sound, Mediterranean touches of harmonies hidden in the folds of memories, rounded rhythms and grooves in constant balance between past and future are brushstrokes of color given with wisdom on a constantly evolving canvas.
 
under:tones arises from the need to create music starting from the heart and ancestral instinct, leaving aside the mental mechanisms that, after so many years of discography and artistic career of Alex and Matteo, would have conditioned the final result.
 
A project focused on the many shades of electronic music, between Clubs, Festivals and Art Museums under:tones will propose "sound images", a new concept based on a real interactive electronic music Live Set, with a solid sound and fascinating Art Visuals in order to involve the audience in a psychedelic and enveloping concert, making use of new avant-garde technologies without ever forgetting the analogical aspect which has always captivated and characterized the path of the two musicians.
 
Music and Art are the true essences of under:tones and these two elements dance sinuously, hypnotized by melodies that seem to be played by the cosmos. Sons of mystical harmonic dissonances stolen from the reverberation of an Art Gallery room or from the low muffled frequencies pressure perceived outside the Club, they are floating in the space of the soul like soap bubbles reflecting snapshots of real life.
