Timothy's Tapes was captured on a rainy summer’s day. After many hours spent meticulously producing clinically perfect beats and rhythms, Timothy's Tapes was about letting go, and being free with production. The result of this approach was something very unusual and unique. A fusion of marimbas and saxophones and organic textures, created a warm deep piece of music with a strong identity.

The inimitable Kris Wadsworth strips away the intricate trademark Klartraum detail and pans out to the overall feel with his ʻSpace Faceʼ interpretation.  Looped keys sit back in the mix whilst floating chords ride the kick-focused rhythm before opening into a mesmerising blanket of melody. Audio taste buds are effortlessly charmed whilst driving the dance floor, with this original underground masterpiece. Raw yet elegant, this is undoubtedly some of the US producer’s finest work.

Underbelly Records is an underground label that specialises in deep house, minimal and techno productions, for the connoisseurs of electronic dance music.  Formed as a consequence of the Underbelly club nights, where DJs naturally branched into producing their own music. 

The Underbelly family hosts private parties throughout the year, known as The Underbelly of Society Ball. Originally started in London’s east end at random dates and venues, which have now also taken place in Ibiza, Italy, America and have exciting things in store for 2013.  These exclusive parties attract the most discerning, random, fun-loving clubbers that clubland has to offer.

The Underbelly logo is predominantly made up of the Astrological Natal Chart of Tim Underbelly.  In the centre is a pentagram, a mystical symbol believed to protect the bearer, made up of the elements: fire, water, earth and air, plus the spirit.  Surrounding the pentagram is the wording of the Pagan outlook in life “in perfect love & perfect trust.”  The Idea behind the logo is that whether it is on a record, flyer or a piece of clothing, the bearer is under a spiritual spell of protection.

All things Underbelly; the record label, parties, clothing range, accessories, music video production and artist management, are run by brother and sister team, Tim and Amy Underbelly.
