Paranoid - Nicodemus the Truth

I am a poet and emcee hailing from the Southside of Chicago whose music aims to bring forth true expression and social awareness.  My  belief is that music is a direct reflection of life, and as life has many ups, downs and swings, so does my music as it aims to express all human emotions to the fullest. I am currently a third year student at Western Michigan University and while studying  I have started a branch of the Chicago Louder Than A Bomb competition in Kalamazoo, held my own radio show in Detroit and have  performed with various artists including BlocBoy JB, 147Calboy,  Kirko Bangs, and Bizarre (Former D12 Member) just to name a few. I have also started a media company called UnderDAWG Visuals and have captured content for artists like Big Sean, G Herbo, and Jacquees. 

	Upon Graduation, I plan on traveling around the country to build a buzz in the major U.S. cities as well as with my team, Reaching Dreams Agency, in the Dominican Republic just like how we have in Chicago and Detroit. Drawing influences from experimental  artists Smino, Chance the Rapper, J Cole, and XXXTENTACION as well as more aggressive artists like Jon Connor and Joyner Lucas, my music is a mix of melodic choruses and hard punchline driven verses.My music is not made to fit into one category, which has a positive effect on listeners being that there isn’t much on the market to compare it to. 

	Behind it all, spreading positivity and motivation to the world is the inspiration for my music. I strongly believe that I was put on this world to bring strength and joy to all those around me, to empower others when they feel weak and stand for those who need strength.
