Hey! This track actually was an old Sans Hopes and Dreams that I started working on a bit after HPtU v2, but then immediately dropped because of I had no idea where to go with it. Then a few days ago, I started thinking about what a unique Sans HnD would sound like and moreso why Sans would fight the human if he were in Asriel's place. You know how Sans mentions he gave up on "going back" while not in referring to the surface? Basically, I thought that, with the power of a god, he could possibly "go back" to wherever that is. The point of this fight helping Sans come to terms that "going back" (literally and figuratively) isn't an option so he doesn't destroy the current reality as we know it.
It's an interesting kind of situation that I don't think has been explored that too much in AUs. Beyond that, it's a take on a unique Sans HnD that is *kind of good* in my opinion like how Megalo Fever was a very good take on a Sans BAaTH. Hope you guys enjoy! Cya!

I am a twin. Some parents of twins will dress them alike, and some twins will lean into the whole twin thing and embrace essentially being one entity, looking and acting very similarly to each other. 

I don’t know if it was growing up as a twin with the last name Baker when a popular movie about twins with the last name Baker came out, leading to everyone calling us the Fabulous Baker Boys, or if it was some kind of innate contrarian streak, but my brother and I decided to be nothing like each other. It didn’t work. Identical twins are identical twins no matter how they dress or try to act like. But we gave it our best shot. 

Part of my brother and I trying to each be our own individual, rather than one part of a whole, involved us having a different color that we identified with. Mine was blue. My brother’s was red. I feel like I won that one. Carolina blue is objectively the best color there is, far superior to any shade of red. Everyone knows this, right?

But then this guitar came into my life. It was a Candy Apple red Telecaster, and it was my first “real” guitar. Then this other guitar came into my life, which has been my go to for recording and live performance for over 20 years now: a red Parker Nitefly. Then G&L came out with a carved top version of their ASAT that I absolutely had to have. It came in two different finishes: transparent black and transparent red. Sweetwater didn’t have the black in stock and I needed it right then and there, so I got the red. 

That guitar has become my go to for writing riffs on, even if I end up using a different guitar to record the part. If you hear a heavy riff on any of my songs it was almost certainly written on that guitar.

Some of the most important guitars in my life and in my music writing and performance happen to be red. Even my beloved Heritage H-150 is even a cherry sunburst, which has an awful lot of red in it. What’s more, I do not own a single blue guitar. 

Which brings me to this song: I recorded this particular song exclusively on red guitars, so when it came time to name it -- and instrumentals are difficult to name for me -- “Press the Red Button” seemed like a perfect name for it.

Here with yet another basic style Megalovania for you guys!
This one is quite a bit more experimental than Necrolithium, as I attempted a style closer to what Toby Fox would make.
Oh! and I feel like I should mention that Frakture!Shift isnt (Currently) a real fleshed out AU. Its just that I know StoryShift has its own OST and its own canon so I wanted to make this its own thing out of respect.
I may attempt to make it into a real AU someday! But for now just have this little track I made for the idea. :P
