* On a sunny day on the surface, a human, CHARA, fell down the canyon.
* Upon landing, they were greeted by ASRIEL, member of the royal family.
* Chara was taken into the family.
* The four grew ever closer afterwards.

* Asriel and Chara were like best friends.
* Treating eachother almost like siblings.
* Chara was treated with generosity and hospitality.
* However, things were beginning to change.

* As they hated humanity, Chara sought to destroy it all.
* They became evermore demanding and rose to the center of power.
* They used their newfound influence to do what they wanted.
* Slowly, Chara started to play a prominent role in decision-making.

* With a desire to shatter the barrier for good, Chara conscripted a royal force.
* They wanted monsters that would use whatever they had to attempt to make things right.
* Two brave monsters stood up to the challenge.
* They were UNDYNE and ALPHYS.

* Through the power of science.
* Alphys was injected with an essence from within the SOUL.
* While Undyne acquired all the strengths of the same human SOUL.
* The SOUL of kindness.

* With this power, the two marched outside the barrier.
* The humans, fearing for their lives, attempted to strike them down with force.
* The two were both under heavy fire.
* Then, things started to go off the rails.

* Alphys, unwilling to fight back, was severely hurt.
* Nearing the brink, she couldn’t continue defending.
* Undyne, on the other hand, was reluctant to give up.
* Undyne, was too determined.

* By then, the two were beginning to melt down.
* They retreated back into safety.
* Though, the damage was too much to bear.
* Both of them passed away seconds after their return.

* In her final moments, Alphys clinged onto her beloved doll.
* As her spirit faded, her dust covered its exterior.
* Undyne’s infused SOUL was shattered.
* And with it, her heroic life.

* Under Chara’s leadership, the royal family became ever distant.
* Arguments became a daily occurrence.
* Now that disaster had struck, everything fell apart.
* Everyone went their separate ways.

* With two brave heroes defeated by humanity’s cruelty.
* The royal family was broken up.
* Immediately after, all order was disrupted.
* Only chaos remained.

* Asriel, despondent over the rift between him and his sibling.
* Asgore, having stepped down, sought out a calm life in the snowy mountains.
* Toriel, gone away as her emotions led her to seek other people.
* Chara, stayed at the capital, waiting for the opportunity to strike.

* It seemed as if the underground had lost all hope it once had.
* Yet, with five SOULS left in our possession.
* A sixth, including that of Chara.
* There remained a small sliver of faith.

* Not all is lost just yet.
* A great future lies ahead.
* Monsters will triumph in spite of adversity.
* No hardship could ever bring us down.

* You’re going to be a hero.
