If you ask Avratz about his recent EP’s he would say that before you’re a DJ you need to be a dancer, only then can you understand the dancefloor. Like driving a race car with a shaking gearbox, knowing that with every sharp turn you take the floor and the people turn with you.

Famous for his ethnic-electronic Madboojah Project (2008), creating one of Israel’s most successful electronic productions ever, and performing in Israel’s biggest clubs such as the Block, the Forum, Club Q and the Grounded festival, while under his DJ name Avratz, he is one of Israel’s leading DJs and one of the few who have been invited to play abroad in Ibiza, Boom Festival and the Netherlands.

This ep will take you from deeper space through Middle East with two monster melodic tracks, that fuse local Israeli flavours with throbbing synth lines, encapsulating an anthemic sound for the Globe to enjoy.

The title track 'Hafla Galactic' is a peak time melodious affair, with energy and a unique flair, fusing local music flavours, with a throbbing underpinning that makes this rock!

While the mystical sounding 'Road to Taba' locks you in to its mystical spell, as it meanders and filters from dirty synth lines to acoustic and mesmerising licks, all while packing a punch.

We are delighted to see the return of Argentina based producer Partenaire on the label. He’s been with us numerous times on our PHW Elements division and we are as happy as ever to see him back with a phenomenal 2 tracker. 

“Marea Roha” as the opener is baptized is a real groovy number, packed with fresh percussion, a pumping bass line and smooth creative textures to bring on the full Partenaire artillery to a full flare. It’s another one from him that is so rich in textures ad atmosphere. 

The second track of the EP is a healthy number of blended styles. With a fresh progressive vibe, we also sense more trance inspired elements to make this another fresh one out of the Argentines studio. We are really hooked on that small vocal chop that is working its way throughout the track. 

We are as pleased as ever to see Partenaire make a welcome return and we do hope he will be with us for many more times, enjoy it!

Although it’s been a year to forget for most of the electronic music scene, we’re happy to say that Nōpi has come through the tumultuous times stronger than ever. He began the year making his debut with us on the inaugural Blanche project, seizing the spotlight with an XYZ instant classic - Mayaya. Since then, he’s graced the likes of TRYBESof, Anjunadeep, and Kindisch, establishing himself at the core of the deep and melodic community.

As a final nod to his defining year thus far, we’re thrilled to have the Ukranianian back on the label to close the circle on 2020. Landscape Cloud is a project we’ve been looking forward to for many months, harnessing the tones that we’ve come to love from Nōpi.

On the A-side, he’s connected with Indian vocalist Shrii for a true beauty. Smooth percussion and deep pads set the stage for sumptuous and powerful vocals, kicking into gear with middle eastern instrumentals. Ominous yet uplifting; epic dancefloor moments are in store with Landscape Cloud at the helm.
