Genish is back on Ya Hala Ya Hala with his outstanding ‘Eliana’ EP.

Needless to say, we are so looking forward to finally release his 2nd EP on the label that we have been playing since last summer constantly for the magic moments. “Eliana” has been a much sought-after tune in the label mixes and showcases already. It underpins Genish’s special hand for fusing solid bass-heavy grooves, clearly inspired by his love for middle eastern music, hypnotic synth hooks, effected percussion, live instrumentation, and vocal snippets. Whoever has heard him play live and was grabbed by the unique magic he creates in his sets - will absolutely love this one.
 
The second original “Darb El Tabana ” is definitely the trippy one. Some serious mood in here topped by Shira's sexy hypnotic vocals and dubby synth-scapes balancing it with the right vibe for the dance music floor, melting to one trip of a tune. 

The title track 'Eliana' comes with an astral rework from Mexico's finest Inigo Vontier. With releases under his belt on label such as Multi Culti, Disco Hala, Blue Shadow and TAU -  he’s absolutely picking up the trippiness of the whole release with his FM synth perc modulation, minimal soporific groove, and dynamica in storytelling, delivering beauty in perfection mirroring his outstanding production skills and style

The B-side kicks off with a massive main-room remix of SABABA 5 ‘NASNUSA’ courtesy of Israeli trance-master KINO TODO & DANELZ, chopping the amazingly catchy and beautiful vocals of Japanese vocalist YURIKA into a club-pumping ear-worm. ANDI OTTO brings things back down to the lower tempos Multi Culti is associated with, joining forces with Rwandan dancer and singer EVARISTE KARINGANIRE for a wonky, stompy and most of all unique track. Finally, cult wizard GOLDEN BUG turns in another spooky, subliminal groove, sounding like Toulouse Low Trax having a puff with Aleister Crowley - witchy incantation meets hypnotic beat.

Previously of other well-respected labels like Disco Halal and Sol Selectas, AIKON is a very promising new talent who now lands on Exploited Ghetto.
The sprightly plucked synth arpeggios of ‘Saturn’ sound as if he is imitating a middle Eastern string instrument, and the inclusion of sitar solo shimmering under the electronic elements works in perfect harmony. The rolling bassline interplays perfectly with the chunky kicks, and the combination of the elements generates a wonderful kind of dancefloor hypnosis. Meditative, magical music.
The talented Sandhog brings his atmospheric signature sound to a remix of ‘Saturn’. He feeds the sitar through a bitcrusher to great, hazy effect, contrasting with the crisp, clean sound of the plucked lead. Acidic gurgles hover subtly beneath, while various percussive hits help add accent to the groove.
‘Dishes’ walks a similarly moody and potent path. Moroder-esque stuttered bass walks its way through the pitter-patter of hi-hats, live snares and cowbells. More plucked string motifs create a dramatic tension, and the whole the drives along with a serious head of steam and an introspective feel.
