We are more than excited to welcome on our label a fantastic duo from Israel called the Vooz Brothers. Behind the name Vooz Brothers there is Danny Tuval, international Dj, producer and music reporter & Zigo also a very talented musician and a successful producer.

They bring to our label an outstanding groovy EP with lots of afro influenced elements called Green Forest.

The first track Green Forest starts off with a wonderful percussive intro followed by a deep and groovy kick and bassline. Flagged by atmospheric bird FX and various driving shakers and hats this tune makes you wanna hit that dance floor immediately. The track progresses nicely with the implementation of divers deep synth progressions, dubby vox FX and a variety of drum fills to accentuate this jungle jam. An outstanding deep and great percussive journey this track is the right Afro track to get your crowed moving.

For us a must have in your Afro collection.

Spring is here and we are happy to present to you a new EP courtesy from Yöurr, producer and DJ based in Hungary, with two original tracks: "New Transitions" and "Broken Barriers". And that's not all, in this pack we also included a remix of French duo Pandhora for "New Transitions" that is intended to fill our spirits with energy.

The first track "New Transitions" is a sound progression that brings us closer. it's an intimate, deep and spatial state of fulfilment. A sound experience full of emotions, dreamlike sensations and euphoria.

"Broken Barriers", the second track, has the magical characteristic of taking us to a universe of colours far from the isolation caused by the pandemic. This track materializes the energy we need to return to the dancefloor; turning percussions and synthesizers into the desire to feel free through dance again.

The last track is a solid reshape by Pandhora for "New Transitions". It's loaded with elements that make us travel to the best memories we have. It's an invitation to put our eyes on the future. 

We have missed the magical ritual of dancing surrounded by people but the dreamy breakdown of this piece is the perfect spell to fill that void.

On volume 2 we have music from Germany, Egypt, Argentina, Italy, Russia, Israel, Turkey, Georgia, and the USA. We welcome the artists Aurka, Tamada, Serkan Eles, and DOMA, for their debut on Sol Selectas. Coming in for a next one to be released via Upon.You Records we've got a fresh collaboration going on which sees two long standing and beloved figures of the German scene joining forces to cook up some dancefloor goodness for post-pandemic times. We're talking Kotelett & Sascha Cawa here who are presenting their conjunctional label debut that is „Akemie" with two original tracks and a dubbed out retake of the title cut.

With „Akemie" we see Kotelett & Sascha Cawa provide a deep and highly fascinating dancefloor banger, pairing a precisely sculpted TechHouse foundation with a well hypnotic, slightly modulated main motif accompanied by an evergrowing stack of intertwined, corresponding synth layers leading towards the most angelic widescreen panorama breakdown you'll experience on a large scale P.A. system this year.

Subsequently „Takeshi" is shifting gears and enters full throttle mode whilst the prolific duo navigates a brooding, well futuristic sonic realm, firing up dancefloors with a clean cut, more muscular and surely spine-tingling, Techno-leaning sound vision balancing the thin line between a looming apocalypse and an oncoming salvation, perfectly represented by the tunes glistening melodies.

Finally, the title track makes a second appearance in its so-called „Akemie *Dub" version, providing an even deeper and slightly moodier variation for extended (Neo)Trance-oriented after hours sets and open air sunrise sessions under immaculate skies for a closing.

Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. At times the fact that DJs play other peoples´ music tends to fade into the background somewhat. Time to pay them hommage!

In the course of more than 15 years we have encountered a bunch of impressive artists.

It was and still is their music that has made our sets what they are. Some of them came to play at one or the other of our annual GRAND SPORTFEST events in Berlin.

Some musical connections have even evolved into long-standing friendships.
So the idea of kinking up with these special colleagues to create a compilation came easy and a while ago. And much later, finally here it is!

Eleven of our most cherished guest artists have contributed their own tracks to create this showcase.

We´re proud and grateful to be able to present the work of our friends and colleagues in this release!

UONE & OUT OF SORTS – BONGO PORN EP

Following on from the success of ‘Balance Presents Uone’, label bosses Uone & Out of Sorts pluck out one of their favourites from the album and put forward two banging mixes of their own. Following suit we welcome some of our favourite internationals to the fray, including long time friend Andreas Henneberg. and Lithuanin geniuses Kastis Torrau & Donatello

The original track spurred from Uone & Jay Haze’s fateful connection, the artists hitting it off at Australia’s Subsonic Music Festival like two aliens meeting on a meteorite deep in space. The track features the cosmic words of Jay Haze, taking the listener on a poetic journey through our solar solar system. He takes the track to an interstellar level, urging the listener to go wild and lose themselves in music, rocking their body and soul in the primal space between rhythm and words.

German tech hero Andreas Henneberg does not disappoint, dropping the key of the track and bringing the listener to the launch pad, laying down his text book sound like a space rocket preparing for take off.
Kasitis Torrau & Donatello continue the charge, keeping the depth of the original with the peppery addition of stylish growling basslines and piercing synth stabs, a true peak time master piece for the dancefloor.

Each remix is made in a unique style of its own. But one thing is for sure: this whole package is made for the dance floor, and a cosmic one at that.

For the first time since it started, and for obvious reasons, 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch won’t be happening, on what would have been the tenth anniversary of the series.
