Here is a little about me,

Born in Brazil and raised in California, Lauro Martins was introduced to dance music at a very young age due to his father owning a night club in the 1990’s. Lauro started mixing and producing Deep/Tech House now finding himself submerged into the world of the Romanian Minimal sound. Lauro has many releases on smaller labels, but is still is working on breaking trough with his original sound. He uses a mixture of vintage/new-school analog synthesizers and drum machines in his productions, giving a unique soul to each track that comes out of his California studio.

Vlad offers a dark minimal opening, in an ocean of textures and tiny details. Supported by efficient basslines, a Slavic vocal mesmerize the listener. It’s only then that a shift in the mood occurs, drifting to groovy rominimal tracks and high-energy dream sequences. For all the duration of the journey, the artist carefully oscillates between light tracks and darker joints in a powerful combo. At times, we shiver with nasty laughs and creepy monk chants that recall occult ceremonies. We find the light again with stellar driving joints, and it goes on and on, with a cool human feeling in the mixing. The ending fades away on an abstract flavour that keep the mind in a meditative state for a moment.

In 2013 as the Balearic scene was changing in his native Spain, Javier Baz felt a magnetic pull draw him to Germany. The melting pot of Berlin’s club culture is as potent as it is transformative, and making the move he was thrust headfirst into a period of deep musical exploration. Spending countless hours digging into obscure minimal and deep techno productions, whilst soaking up the unrestrained artistry and expressionism on display at the local clubs. Over the subsequent years under his @Suburbial alias, Javier began gaining support and respect amongst his peers, with his productions being played in celebrated institutions like Globus (Tresor), Hoppetosse & Club der Visionaere. Galvanized by these milestones he shifted his focus more heavily into music production, experimenting with new machines, instruments, and modulars. His defined producing style has gone from strength to strength, now ranging from submersive techno to deep minimalistic and organic sounds. Always aiming for a harmonic evolution that is both energetic and enigmatic. His masterful approach to music has seen him signed to reputed labels like @CurteaVeche and @Rotatemusic, with more releases inbound on different labels, alongside his self-styled imprint @DeepnosiS.
