Absolutely brilliant EP from start to finish — shades of Drexciya and the late, great Mike Huckaby, to whom the record is dedicated.

🎙 Black Eyes - Hailing from Manchester, Black Eyes excels as a producer but "is at heart primarily a DJ, and always will be." Heavily influenced by the likes of Mike Huckaby (to whom Hydro Trip Vol 1 is dedicated), Walt J, Omar S and Norm Talley, Black Eyes was a 7 year resident with NTS radio before moving to Berlin in 2022.

Italian producer Bress Underground joins the GLBDOM family with a delicious cut of dancefloor driven goodness! Happiness Therapy is celebrating five years of releases this month ! The French label, founded by Crowd Control in 2018, has become one of the country’s most well-renowned outfits. 

To commemorate such a milestone, the imprint is releasing a nine-track VA in the form of 5 Years of Happiness. Featured guests include Kolter and DJ Steaw, whilst several firm label favorites also appear on the VA, teaming up to produce a set of exclusive collaborations.

Growing up in Leipzig surrounded by the city’s vibrant illegal open air scene DJ Uludag was always intrigued by the vinyl only aspect of the DJ’s playing these parties. He started collecting records and organizing illegal events in the woods around the city at the tender age of 16, co founding the Waldbrand collective.  
Whilst exploring many different genres over the years and playing up and down the Leipzig club circuit, everything always came back to early 2000’s (Tech-) House and its endless grooves and playful vibe. This early style of House is what makes up DJ Uludag’s sound today, always trying to dig out some wicked record from the past and staying away from the tracks everyone else is playing.

Man what can we say ?! Glad to have one of those mixes y'all have one repeat for sure. Enjoy !
