Klasse Wrecks is proud to present Luca Lozano's 4th album, a collection of both previously unreleased and brand new material. Recorded between the years of 2015 and 2022 and in the locations of various studios in Berlin and Sheffield, 'Man Of Science' collates some of the producers most accomplished and interesting work to date.

Choosing to release an album on CD in the current climate of vinyl-fetishistic domination may seem a risky move but longtime followers will know Mr. Lozano was never one to follow trends blindly and chooses to plough his own path whilst the world patiently waits in line for their turn.

The title track from the album opens with sampled words from astrophysicist and planetry scientist Neil Degrasse Tyson and hints at the overarching theme of the album, in an increasingly polarised world Luca Lozano plants his flag firmly in the moondust and stands by his belief solarsystem.

'Man Of Science' opens with 'End of Line 2' a follow up to the original track released on Super Rhythm Trax in 2015. The slow stomp of breakbeats and alien rhythms stride alongside complex layers of Kawai-strings and haunting FX, resulting in a trademark styling of a Lozano track that refuses to be categorised.

Elsewhere the stubborn bounce of 'Celestrial Being' fuses a House feeling with a retro rave aesthetic, culminating in a beautifully orchestrated crescendo that is sure to illuminate the moodiest of listeners.

Tracks like 'Prognosis' show off Lozano's flair and interest in early Progressive House, an irresistably functional groove pair with pianos and stabs Gat Decor would proud of.

The album rounds of with the bonus track 'VIP', which features a sample taken from the Spike Jonze produced documentary 'Whats Up, Fatlip? and is a perfect example of the type of track that lies hidden in one of Lozano's many forgotten hard drives. Defiantly imperfect and with a tongue firmly lodged in cheek, the track gives a glimpse into the producers relentless worth ethic and also a sneak peek into the mountain of music that possibly lies unreleased.

The 10 track CD album comes complete with obi-strip and fold out poster and is limited to 500 copies.

Ruton, consisting of Rub800 and Tonchius is back on their own label with a five-tracker as Continually marks their Fifth outing. Music ranging from hypnotic and trippy techno on the A-side to more melodic and harmonic house jams on the flip. Finally, a triphop flavored downtempo cut concludes the EP.

Valencia's Nacho Marco has an incredibly impressive back catalogue, with releases on brilliant labels including Freerange, Plastic City, Lazy Days, Ovum, We Play House and his own excellent Loudeast imprint too. Now added to the list is the irrepressible Chiwax, with his “The 909 Files" EP. 

Each track is simply titled 'File 1' through to “File 4“, so let's kick things off in the usual order. "File 1“ is a powerhouse of percussion and keys, with an almost Reese-esque bassline rumbling underneath. The weight of the kicks and the metronomic rattle of the rimshots thunders the track along, making this a very impressive opener. 

“File 2" slows the BPM down a few notches, the drums are again super-heavy (being from the 909, as the EP title gives away), but this time the keys take a softer approach, with glorious floating pads underpinning the mellow mood here. A wonderfully woozy closer to the A-side. 

Flipping over for “File 3“ on the B-side, the 909 is joined by our old friend the M1 bassline, with clipped vox parts adding to the energy pulsing through the track. Swinging along in a fashion reminiscent of classics such as  Kerri Chandler et'al, this is a superb straight-up warm house jam. 

Rounding the EP off, “File 4’"is built around a stabby church organ riff which nags away throughout the track, the punchy percussion and tinkling chords coming together in a swirl of joyous depth for the dancefloor. The bassline chugs away with its neat bounce, echoing the thump of the unmistakable 909 kicks, closing the EP off in the style it maintains throughout, namely exquisite dancefloor-driven house music which has a real timeless quality.

"Superpump" es una pista de Tech House de alto voltaje, diseñada para la pista de baile. Desde el primer compás, el tema se sumerge en un groove profundo con una línea de bajo contundente y pulsante que genera una sensación de movimiento constante. Los elementos rítmicos están cuidadosamente equilibrados, con un kick potente y seco, acompañado de hi-hats brillantes y percusiones dinámicas que refuerzan la energía del track.

La atmósfera se construye con sintetizadores envolventes y progresiones filtradas, generando tensión y liberación en los momentos clave. Los efectos y transiciones están bien trabajados, aportando fluidez al desarrollo de la canción. A medida que avanza, la estructura introduce sutiles variaciones que mantienen la frescura sin perder la esencia hipnótica del género.

Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. Born with an innate passion for music, Giuliano channeled his talent and creativity to craft a unique and captivating sound that deeply resonates with genre enthusiasts.

In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, Flowing Movement Music. Through this label, he not only promoted his own music but also elevated the profile of numerous other artists within the genre. His commitment to sonic excellence and dedication to cultivating a vibrant community of Dub Techno producers and fans have solidified his position as a central figure in the music scene.

In 2020, amid the pandemic, he launched DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023 and DUBLUCID in 2024—all focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and, of course, Dub Techno.

Giuliano has also released tracks on Lucidflow, a label founded by Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch, also known as Klartraum. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, GENTLEMAN selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to Superordinate Dub Waves, founded by Nae:Tek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Most recently, Giuliano released new music on Piranha Siberia Dub, continuing to contribute fresh and innovative sounds to the Dub Techno scene.

Through these platforms and collaborations, Giuliano Rodrigues continues to solidify his reputation as a prolific and influential figure in Dub Techno, constantly pushing the genre's boundaries and connecting with a global audience.

Currently, with countless remixes, singles, compilations, and his entire body of work focused on Dub Techno, Giuliano has centralized all his releases under one label: DUBLUCID.

Italian selector and producer Matisa released her first EP into the world last year via Optimo Music and introduced us to her Italo Disco-influenced productions. Matisa's opener 'Gabardine' continues her appreciation of the Italo sounds that permeated her last release, crafting a punchy house number carried along by a hypnotic bassline.
