Anjunadeep’s Simon Doty presents a pair of diverse remixes of gardenstate’s ‘1995’.

Canada’s Simon Doty is a rising star in the melodic house scene: he’s released four standout EPs on Anjunadeep, his latest being the four-track ‘Solaris EP’. Supported by Phil Taggart, Danny Howard, Gorgon City, Cassian, Jax Jones and Lane 8, Simon has also released on Knee Deep In Sound, Einmusika, and This Never Happened. He pays homage to vintage house and 90’s trance on his reworks of ‘1995’, aptly titled as the ‘Housed Up’ and ‘I Made Trance’ remixes.

gardenstate were formed after a chance meeting between Marcus Schössow and Matthew Felner. Their debut album ‘Inspirations’ was released on Anjunabeats in October 2021, following a string of well-received singles and a raved-up take on Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s ‘No One On Earth’.

Marcus and Matt recently joined Above & Beyond in London for their Group Therapy 450 celebrations, and supported A&B on the Anjunafamily Reunion Tour across the U.S.A. gardenstate have also been active in the livestreaming realm, spinning music from ‘Inspirations’ and more from Fagradalsfjall Volcano, Iceland.

gardenstate’s ‘Inspirations’ is available to buy now on special edition 2x12” coloured vinyl from the Anjuna Music Store, with more remixes of the album dropping before the end of 2021.
