Lemna deals in complex, interlocking rhythms and vapourous atmospheres with a humid intensity. The Japanese artist’s previous work has appeared in a flurry over recent years on Horo, skirting the grey area between immersive deep techno, modernist drum & bass and electronica with a vividly sculpted designers’ sound palette. For Delsin's Mantis series she digs into five varied but cohesive drum studies loaded with cinematic tension and an ambiguous mood, steering clear of emotional baggage to present a rigorous and all-consuming sound rooted in movement but certainly not bound by dancefloor expectations.

Marking eight years in existence and the and the close of its first chapter, UNDER MY FEET. presents its first compilation: Farewell Notes.

With contributions from artists close to UMF., Farewell Notes celebrates an approach to music that is rebellious in nature and defies expectations to construct its own narrative. It’s a space for artists who have inspired the growth of the noise and experimental scenes around the world to express themselves freely.

The v/a moves through a range of abstract textures and emotions – the hypnotic rhythms and distinctive sounds of Orphx, Volsent and Ciarra Black contrast the soothing, melancholic loops from Vanity Productions and Alessandro Adriani. Chloe lula, Kashaiof, DE:MA and Vera Spektor reach for spiritual and ritualistic narratives, Incendie and Silent Servant take an approach rooted in post-punk & metal, while the psychic & distorted noises of Roxy Farman, Tot Onyx, Hüma Utku complement an exclusive collaboration between Ireen Amnes & Drew McDowall.

Habgud | Thermal Dynamics EP [CRG031]

Recorded very badly at 'The Slaughterhouse' demolition party in May 1995, somewhere in McCormack St, Newcastle, Australia. This rubbish live cassette recording which became FISTC-08 doesn't really do the party justice, but aside from the house demolition chaos that took place that evening, the recording is a quick and messy snapshot of where the label was at in May 1995. Tracks appeared from Nasenbluten, Overcast, Xylocaine, Disassembler, Syndicate, Netas, Memetic and Embolism. 
Free download. (Yes there's dropouts and all sorts of technical issues and drunken fuckups throughout the recording. If your equipment isn't on its last legs you're not doing it right). Enjoy!
