Sante’s Avotre label presents a 3-track VA with cuts from Wade, Emanuel Satie and System2.

Sante’s AVOTRE label and global party series are bastions of quality modern house music known for championing new talents like Sidney Charles alongside more experienced heads like Chris Carrier. Now the label is proud to offer up a Various Artists showcase that welcomes three new artists to the fold.

First up is Emanuel Satie, a Frankfurt producer with credits on Get Physical and Bout. Records. He offers ‘Bossin Up’, a tight, bouncing house cut with clean, groovier percussion and trippy melodies falling up the face of the track. A spraying baseline also comes in to keep things moving along and will likely send fists
skyward when it drops in the club. Next up is Wade, a Spanish producer and DJ with more than thirty hits in the Beatport Top 100 and releases on MOOD and Suara, amongst others. His cut ‘Boldness’ is a full blooded, shuffling tech track with deep looping bass, alien melodies and effects and a drunken synth line that adds plenty of off kilter charm. Lastly, Manchester pair and VIVa alumni System2 aka Tez Hurst & Danny Hevingham close out the EP with ‘Dug Out’. On top of their well crafted, engaging drums and warm, sub bass are all manner of freaky voices, skittish snares and sun kissed melodies that rise up through the mix to bring a real sense of heat and uplifting emotion to the EP.

In branching out here the AVOTRE label has unearthed a trio of talented producers that fit in perfectly
with the label’s MO to date.

Infectiously groovy, his unique take on Tech House is inspired in equal measures by Ibiza sunrise sessions as it is by twisted after-hours parties in London backrooms. This distinct flavour has earned him widespread recognition within the scene leading to releases on the likes of Lost Recordings, ALiVE, Troupe Records, and VIVa MUSiC.

Previously Latmun’s track ‘Who’s That’ featured on Detlef’s mix for the ‘VIVa Warriors Season 4’ mix compilation where it found support from many heavyweights in the scene and became one of the best selling tracks to be released on VIVa MUSiC in 2015. It is with great pleasure then that we welcome Latmun back, this time to VIVa LIMITED, with a full 6 track EP set to shake dancefloors around the globe from Birmingham to BPM!

Dusty Grooves is back again for their third Ibiza VA! This time, we welcome back some previous artists from the label along with some new additions. The Ibiza VA is one of our favourite releases of the year as it gives us an opportunity to push out some new and exciting artists. First up, we have Ben Read with his groove filled track 'I Don't Need'. This is Ben's second outing on Dusty grooves and we're happy to welcome back! Next up, we have one half of Dusty Grooves' label heads Blane Read with '1995' adding his acid infused influence to this release. Duskope makes his return to Dusty Grooves after his previous successful tracks on Dusty Grooves. Duskope is someone we will continually be supporting if he carries on producing tracks like 'Getcha' which takes it down with a slightly more mellow vibe which you can imagine being played on the island of Ibiza! Closing off the release, we have a debut from Carlossal Small providing us with his track 'Checking Shadows' taking it slightly darker that could be a great contender for any end of the night sets to keep the party going.

Hailing from Warrington in the North of England, Ben Walsh' arrival on the scene in the last 12 months has been a rapidly successful one, his maiden release, Afrikan Dance hitting #1 on Beatport's top 100 across all genres.

His first release for NastyFunk, 'Can't U See' is an uplifting funk of a track, investing in minorly happy 303 patterns and intelligent percussive movement. It make you shake.

B Side 'Le's We Go' carries more of the exotic flavour over with some great use of analogue drum sounds and atmospheric vocals overlayed on a simply effective 4 x 4 groove.

On remix duties are label boss, Erik Christiansen and partner David Museen bringing a fresh energetic take on the original.
