Wait did the humans seal darkners into the dark world? & the dark fountains almost act like the barrier?

If the fountains work the same way in deltarune, it's gonna be really sad theres basically going to be no good ending if you want to leave the dark world. Imagine you seal it and then the player dies of suffocation of all the darkners
