The EP's title borrows its name from the first track, 'The Full 48,' and is backed by 'Kongker.' Both tracks embody Koister's heavy low end, crisp drum work, and percussive undertones. 'The Full 48' has a distinct raw underground quality with a driving bassline, bouncy percussion parts, and plenty of ear candy in the form of eccentric sounds and chopped vocals.

'Kongker' provides a straightforward pulsing bassline with a percussive tribal drive supported by pitched vocals and a steady tom line that plays off the kick and bass. The cowbell sends this one over the edge.

Either track will elevate and push the energy level of any dance floor.

Everybody Loves To Boogie - SOULMEEX 066

The Black Light Disco Show gyrates on the greasy pole that is the My House Radio airwaves - puffing up your pillows and giving your ears a hug for the week ahead. 

It’s the middle of the month which means it’s the return of our resident pointy heads and BLD brothers from different mothers - the dynamic duo of Esteban and Cole Kutz! The lads have been busy with the winter preparations here in the ‘new’ BLD Towers - bleeding the radiators and lagging the pipes on the 102nd floor has not been an easy task but they’re all done and ready for entertaining the masses. 

First up is Esteban, who has a bucket of shiny new things from the likes of Stewart Birch, mo_cream_, Barry Can’t Swim, Igor Gonya & Melbourne Drum Authority, Fingerman / 21st Century Soulboy and David Penn to name a few.

For the second hour Cole Kutz has loaded his spin-o-matic with tunes from Art Of Tones, Groove Armada, Corrado Alunni, Stephen Richards and Dennis Cruz among others. 

It’s going to be a lightening fast 2 hour journey so hold on to your underpants!
