A fantastic start to 2023. Dreamscape / Crania chapeau! Location, production, and all the fun anomalies made this night memorable and the recording fire. Taking over from DJ Harvey made me kick off the set light and tropical before I found a clear direction on where to take things. Shout out to @dramian for closing it so tastefully, and much love to everyone for the overwhelming feedback this weekend.

Grateful I get to play these beautiful pieces. Many unreleased, so high fives to all the studio nerds out there i admire.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition we welcome i.am.nãda (@iamnadamusic) & DÂNTE (@dantesdreamworld)

i.am.nãda & DÂNTE are DJ's and Music Producers, but, more than that, they are alchemists of frequency. 

Sharing a love for the esoteric mysteries of sound and vibration, they are in constant exploration of the power and potentials of music. 

i.am.nãda & DÂNTE have been working on a collaborative live project over the last couple of years, developing what they call their "Side to Side" set. Here they join forces as two distinct artists to co-create sonic dance floor journeys of shamanic nature. 

This mix for Magician On Duty is an extended 4 hr live recording from one of their recent shows in Medellín, Colombia.

The Virtues Of Loss is the result of profound revelations, which came along a self-healing journey into the dark.  Bringing this down unders mix to life became a creative guide that helped us find a spark of light to navigate the path in trust once again. And so, we felt inspired to translate all the wisdom we learned into 5 hours of musical landscapes to spread that brightness to all those wounded hearts ready to embrace healing.   

We are ALL letting go of someone, something, or somewhere … most of the time, even letting go of an identity within ourselves. 

Let’s inspire each other by sharing our gifts as we navigate high tides. Raising the sail is not a one man’s job; we are in this together.

MINDGAME Records is back with a superb new package from Parisian artist Juliann with remixes from Nick Morgan and Meloko & Konvex.

Juliann has gone from local hero to breakout star in a short space of time with gigs across Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean. He has also dropped tunes on Knee Deep in Sound, his own label Temps Libre Records, and many more, and impresses once again here.

Dancin' On My Own features Indira May, a UK based vocalist who has featured on Gemini Gemini and Higher Ground. The track is a deep cut tune with warm, rubbery drums and broody pads that make a richly melancholic atmosphere. The vocal layers in smoky soul and it's perfect for intimate back rooms.

The Nick Morgan Remix pairs things back to an even more blissed out sound with meditative grooves and pensive chords that sooth mind and body. Meloko & Konvex then bring extra percussive flair and rolling fills, shakers and cosmic synth details for a more otherworldly sound.

On a beautiful Thursday afternoon on the playa , Sanctuary , Happy Campers and Gardens of Babylon created “ We are not Robots “ a circus of extraordinary humanoids under the magical dome of 1001 nights camp over on the back streets of 4:45 and J .
This Was truly a bonding labor of Love , we had a beautiful silken dome and the floors were cushioned by playground rubber matts which made everyone take off their shoes so they can jump and dance freely in front of the 50 .000 Watt Turbo Sound System calibrated by our legendary sound engineer .
That being said :
We have decided to release one of the most hauntingly beautiful sets that captured everyones soul at the event .Our 2 favorite Aliens  BRITTA / UNDERS were supposed to play 2 hours , we absolutely had to ask them to prolong the journey for a full 4 hour set which can be described as a "Dustyfairytale"  .They seamlessly poured eclectic sounds and vibrations that made us dancing fools think it was part of a Techno sound bath experiment ,They surpassed our wildest imagination and the crowd has never been so mesmerised by their energy and frequencies ever since.  After hearing the feedback of this magical set , it was our duty to release this as soon as the dust settled. 
We HOPE You enjoy this set as much as we all did . 
From the bottom of our GIANT Hearts , we thank everyone who was able to experience this magical day with us at Burning Man 2018.
