Matteo was a regular on the floor and behind the decks at our early London parties, so it felt natural to get him to the Undersound Podcast series at some point.

Recorded in his living room in April 2023, the era-spanning mix finds the London stalwart weaving through his collection of classy records in characteristically smooth fashion, from ambient to electro, techno and back.

Walrus is a label boss, running the iconic Brussels imprint Basic Moves, deep digger - as comfortable playing techno as he is ambient and downtempo - and all round lovely human being. 

Opening up the main floor on the Saturday night, this is Walrus in house, deep house and tech house mode. Low slung grooves, acidic chuggers and the occasional break, this is that wraps you up and cuddles you in it’s warmth and good vibes, just like the man himself.
