The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Your Lord, may He be blessed and exalted, is Kind and Most Generous, and He is too kind to let His slave, if he raises his hands to Him, bring them back empty.” Classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani in Sahih Abi Dawud, 1320.

Allah has told us in His Book the essence from which the jinn were created. He says (interpretation of the meaning):

And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire. [al-Hijr 15:27]
