A beta Undertale AU that plays like HELP_tale, In a way. You have to complete the entire game before getting access to the power to spare monsters, called "Hard Mode" in the game, because no killing means you're stuck at 20 HP.

been a big fan of the stuff on @mortemobire as of late, so i decided to do a little remix of everyone's fan favorite song

Strangely, the second I went to the save point at Toriel's house, the game went to a cutscene of Toriel suddenly stopping me from entering her home. She describes that monsters have been going around telling her what I've been doing, and instead of elaborating I was just sent straight to this fight.
Surprisingly, rather than ending like the original Toriel fight with her being one shot, she seems to be a lot stronger.

This is an archival project of UNDERTALE as it would have been released before development turmoil in 2014.
While snooping through The Wayback Machine to find anything interesting from the archived UNDERTALE Kickstarter pages, we stumbled upon a very angry comment by an user called ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, who claimed to be a former employee of "Toby Fox" that helped him program and sprite a significant portion of UNDERTALE. He claimed that Toby Fox was not cut out to be a game developer due to how he cut corners rather than focusing on expanding on certain game ideas further, and decided to leak this build.
We downloaded the build, but before proceeding we asked Toby himself on Twitter, only resulting in a block plus the swift removal of that page. We are now reviewing the build ourselves (after making sure it's safe) and documenting what we find here. The game actually deletes itself after completing a Genocide Run, and the build starts at the Sans pre-battle, so we are exploring all information we can gather from this section of the game before resetting.
In-Game screenshots have been accurately recreated as much as we could, by GoldenDarius, Boss2Official, and One_Palmtree. 
We've also managed to recover and recreate the soundtrack from this scrapped version of UNDERTALE, with the help of the musicians credited in each description.

I'd like to think that Storyshift Chara's fight wouldn't have any magic or complex bullet patterns, but there would be a hybrid of the green and purple soul modes to visualize physical attacks/blocking. It'd be like traditional RPGs where you block, dodge, etc (CHARA used SLASH!) but because it's a fistfight Chara can just skip your turn if you're not fast enough. Because their attacks are physical, Chara can brake your bones or make you bleed to death, so even getting hit once can be deadly. If you manage to kill Chara without bleeding to death, fainting from pain or getting knocked out then you could maybe kill sans
