UNDERTALE: STORYSHIFT is a reimagining of Storyshift, set in a post-pacifist timeline of Undertale. Many years after Monsterkind had finally been set free, Alphys suggested to her friends that they all dress up as each other for Halloween, playing off the whole "dressing up as monsters" thing that humans were still prone to doing. A lot of them really seemed to like the idea. So much so, that a certain ghostly, theatrical entertainment robot would be inspired to write a stage play for him and his friends to perform in.

Sans proves himself to be stronger than people might have expected. Despite wishing things could've been resolved more peacefully, there truly was only one outcome. One life had to end.

Mettaton tells the audience what happens next. With the help of Frisk's soul, Sans helps monsterkind break free. The monsters live a good life on the surface. But the lives that Frisk touched... feel a whole lot emptier without them around to see it.

An Absolute

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS.
One day, war broke out between the two races.
After a long battle, the humans were victorious.
They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.

Over the many years, humans have fallen down. All of which were different people.

Some were kind. Some were scared. Some were brave.
Some tried to fight. Some tried to run away.
Some stayed for a long, long time.

But only one set everyone free.


This is their story.
