The upsetting thing about Storyshift takes is that Undyne doesn't have enough leitmotifs to fully fill the Mettaton role. Toby, why did you make Mettaton have so many leitmotifs?! He has more leitmotifs than basically all of the main cast, assuming that neither Toriel or Alphys have a greater or equal amount of leitmotifs! People should change this, and I know exactly how they could go about doing so. Listen up, Undertale and Deltarune fans! We need to stand outside of Toby Fox's house and convince him to produce new Undyne-related leitmotifs!!!!!!!!!! All of our hopes and dreams put together will overpower his....... thing that can be overpowered and persuade him to give us what we want!!!!!!!!!! All of our hearts beat together!!!!!!!!!! Flowey, and by extension his plush doll that looks like his past form, is meant to represent Papyrus. In Mettaton's retelling, Asriel and Chara live together with their parents in the Silicone Valley. With their parents both working full-time, Asriel and Chara spend most of their time together and with the Valley locals who've come to adore them.

Not wanting their good times to end, Asriel challenges Frisk to a duel. If Asriel wins, Frisk has to stay; if Frisk wins, they get to move on.

Loosely inspired by Waterfall, the nextmost area in Mettaton's retelling is Stormchase. Alongside heavy, heavy rain, it's also where Asgore and Undyne made their start (de)constructing new buildings, new homes, new... infrustructure as a whole!

Undyne is meant to represent Mettaton. In Mettaton's retelling of the story, Undyne is Asgore's business associate, running a joint construction/demolition company. She suffered a terrible injury on the job, leaving her in critical condition. She's since recovered, and with the help of mechanical enhancements she's back to work, feeling better than ever. Her business partner, on the other hand, does not seem to trust her current condition, leaving her somewhat annoyed.

At the end of the Scrapyard, Undyne's decided she's ready to finish what she started, by cleaning up the mess she left behind. Part of what she considers that mess, however, is Frisk.

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS.
