Guess who's back, back again? 💟 This is one of my favorite tracks so far I had so much fun working on the sound design and working with a heavy af bassline. I've been messing around with audio clips (reversing them, distorting them, pitching them etc.) to make for interesting background sounds and I'm really liking it so far! I did it a few times in this track but I think my favorite example is at 1:25 where I took a clip of someone singing and basically just destroyed the hell out of it to make for a creepy distorted breathy sound (idk what to call it lmao).

For about 4 years, I've had a couple of covers for one of my favorite UTSC tracks: Slaughter in the Spotlight. They both became popular however, they always were outdated and I never felt truly satisfied having those two tracks public.

I thought one day to do a final cover of this track to show my improvement. I wanted to do a different take on this song, switching genres here and then to keep the chaotic feel the phase originally had. I wanted to keep it somewhat in the format of the original track made by BenyiC03; that version stuck the most with me. Originally when conceptualizing this track in my head, I wanted to keep the track quieter and ominous like the original track. This idea was swiftly scrapped.

I had fun with this track. I was a bit lazier with things such as a mixing though. I don't think I'll ever want to cover this track again since there's already so many other ones.
