Over the years, we’ve quietly gathered a number of beautiful recordings from our Under The Rug events, sets filled with energy, intimacy, and unforgettable moments. These recordings have become memories we often return to. Now, we feel it’s time to share them with you. 
This marks the beginning of our new “Droplets from Under The Rug” podcast series. For the maiden voyage, we couldn’t think of anyone more fitting than Cille.

Cille is known for her exciting and unpredictable sets, creatively blending styles and genres into an eclectic mix of playful, rhythmic, and groovy sounds. Based in Oslo, she’s not only a DJ, but also an educated producer and sound designer, who stepped into the scene in 2013 and has never stopped exploring.

Her DJ set from our October 2024 event in Nydalen Fabrikker captures everything we admire about her: warmth, curiosity, and a deep connection with the dance floor.

This month on Flirt, the first-ever DJ duo on the show: Crille & Tamalt (@crilleundtamalt).

A super chill afternoon together full of laughs, and naturally, the question —how does it actually work sharing the decks as a duo? We talked about their approach to digging, building a shared selection, and how they balance their styles.

In 2017, Søren started playing live sets together. At that time, their goal was to make computers redundant as tools.
After a break they now made their comeback at the Hafenklang, where this set was recorded.

Sørens new sound builds on their individual developments they made, focusing on their solo projects. They offer dancefloor-ready, but interestingly varied and well-thought-out live sound beyond washed-out jams. The sometimes melodic, deep side of old Søren sets has remained, the computer has returned to our setup, and yet we still use a lot of hardware. Tools are just tools.

When playing together, they appreciate the understanding they have – without having to discuss much with each other. No set is like the one before, everything is turned upside down and only a few particularly striking parts are retained.

Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

We played at @sisyphos-berlin this summer for the very first time and had to time of our lives. Probably one of our favorite moments on stage so far.
