After two decades of activity using different monikers, the Belgian DJ and producer continues enjoying the ride as FAÏG. This project aims at exploring new sounds as well as getting back in touch with the artists’ musical roots.

Now, Nell Records is back with a complete restart. Label owner FAÏG presents his first full-length album consisting of 11 tracks crafted for the club.

I would like to introduce to you AE.WAI / @a-dot-y /, an experienced and passionate vinyl player & collector, DJ and producer, who has been in love with electronic music, underground and tribal techno sound since the 90's. He comes from the city of Brno, Czech Republic.

AE.WAI was born in the former Czechoslovakia in the 80's with a huge influence of electro breakdance music and old italo disco. He started with DJing in 2001 and with producing just 3 years later. Since day one of his DJ career, he played only the vinyls. It is his life passion and he is also the records collector. Through his lifetime he has been DJing in several countries across Europe and the most memorable parties were in the old warehouses in the south of England. At that time, it was a true underground there.

What do you think about the future in techno music? Do you have any ideas, opinions?

“ Techno is one of the best forms of communication, it connects people and existences from different galaxies, it is a tool against hatred and a guide to connect different cultures and opinions where we are all together and one. I wish that techno and the culture of electronic music remain as it was in its beginnings, connecting everyone and everything, not working as the "money making machine".


What are your imaginations and opinions about the future on Earth in general?
