Already it was deep summer on roadhouse roofs and in front of wayside garages, where new red gas-pumps sat out in pools of light, and when I reached my estate at West Egg I ran the car under its shed and sat for a while on an abandoned grass roller in the yard. The wind had blown off, leaving a loud bright night with wings beating in the trees and a persistent organ sound as the full bellows of the earth blew the frogs full of life. The silhouette of a moving cat wavered across the moonlight and turning my head to watch it I saw that I was not alone—fifty feet away a figure had emerged from the shadow of my neighbor’s mansion and was standing with his hands in his pock- ets regarding the silver pepper of the stars. Something in his leisurely movements and the secure position of his feet upon the lawn suggested that it was XAMAN himself, come out to determine what share was his of our local heavens. I decided to call to him. Margarita had mentioned him at dinner, and that would do for an introduction. But I didn’t call to him for he gave a sudden intimation that he was content to be alone—he stretched out his arms toward the dark water in a curious way, and far as I was from him I could have sworn he was trembling. Involuntarily I glanced seaward—and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock. When I looked once more for Xaman he had vanished, and I was alone again in the unquiet darkness.

---------------- Release Text - Flying Mountain -----------------

Indeed there shines beauty, when mountains dance.
I believe, a flying mountain made many of us already dream away into other dimensions.
I have no clue if Abdullah Ibrahim dreamt about this when he wrote his piece "Mountains", but it
makes me dream of this since quite some time.
With the "Three Good Boys" I have found a combo with which we can play ourselves into so many
different dimensions.
Whether on a stage or in Josefs living room, whether with fat bass or with acoustic frivolity.
With this release, two pieces of music may come to light, that have been able to grow for me only
by playing with the Boys.
My Brudi is as solid as a rock,
or the one I am sitting with, on top of the mountain,
indulging in the moon that appears in the water, so free and light.
In the intro of "Heilo", that side of the mountain that was still shining becomes grim and by all
means, a shady and scratchy beast awaits in the dark.
Nevertheless, bedded on soft furs, the Brudis are hanging on the bright side and rather howling
towards the moon.

@monkymanmusic and @Love-Foundation is a love story that already started a year ago. Due to the pandemic we did not manage to bring it together on the dancefloor so far, but it is only a matter of time till that happens.

 @theoddness aka Warwick is a Melbourne, Australia based musician that is constantly producing amazing tracks and remixes. We already had the pleasure to have him remix our release by Thommie G in April 2020 and we are delighted to have him back on board for this beauty. Looking forward to see what else will steam from down under and hope to have you one day in front of a dancefloor in Europe, Warwick ;)

About this edit :
Discovering and dusting off the folklore of Italian classical music, I came across Sergio Bruni's version of Scetate and I immediately felt a strong inspiration for the evident Arab influence conferred on Neapolitan culture. Scetate is a song composed in 1887 - lyrics by Ferdinando Russo and music by Mario Pasquale Costa. Like all traditional Napolitan songs it has been interpreted by many masters of the Neapolitan song.  I sampled Sergio Bruni's version and the beautiful ethnic strings of Massimo Ranieri's interpretation.  Have a good listening.

@xxande-music is a musical project by Alessandro Izzo.  Always a great fan of electronic music, he started exploring music production very early, even before discovering clubs.  After his experiences as a DJ and techno music producer he decided to deepen his strong passion at the SAE Institute where he followed studies of Audio Engineering and Music Business and then entered some important recording studios as a sound engineer.  Alessandro is part of the “2040” duo thanks to which he came into contact with labels such as Amselcom, Akumandra, Sweet Music, Plötzlich, URS, Heimlich, Circle and Stones and many others.  Xande started as a downtempo project with the purpose of making the folklore of Italian popular music known to the world, but it's only just beginning!
