Originally released over a decade ago, DJ Linus‘s ‘Who Stole The Soul‘, still captures the hearts and mind of dance floor junkies everywhere. We’ve decided to re-release this classic killer with new remixes form Fabio Giannelli and Luna City Express, plus a couple of Linus’ own edits.

Luna City Express open the EP with their heavy-jacking house remix. Thick, raw drums under the signature pads and smoky vocals. A great modern take on an old classic that doesn’t destroy the original vibe, but rather enhances it.

This one has stacks of gems from as far back as 2007 up to present day,and was very well recieved by the live audience..I certainly enjoyed doing this one..so I hope you enjoy it as much. As I didn't get a response to the question I put out on the last upload,I have uploaded this with the voiceover active..but again,i would like your opinions on whether you would prefer them as just a straight up mix? Discos Tabú is a rising & shining Mexican imprint whose mission on earth seeks to invoke ritual and sound and generate an atmosphere of togetherness independently of the genre. Downtempo, Balearic, Electronica, Deep House & whatnot are more than welcome, spiced up either with a pinch or a bulk of Latin flavours.

For its forthcoming addition to its kaleidoscopical catalogue, the label welcomes back one of its founding fathers. Durango 95 presents “Vamonos Muchacho”, a seven-track journey filled with sunshine and good mood devoted to triggering happy hip-shaking and foot-stomping moves.

Premiered here, “Daydreaming”, the beautiful and underrated activity of thinking about pleasant things that you would like to do instead of thinking about what is happening now, is the result of the very first collaboration between Durango and DJ Milka. The duet, maybe under the pleasant effects of daydreaming, managed to bring together their most inner influences and delivered a mellow and soothing theme filled with trippy pads, groovy leads, and whimsical percussive elements. Topping all that the OMG vocals Milka gently came up with. Kudos!

This 2-tracker contains a unbelievably deep signature remix by our man Shahrokh Dini, which is making waves already for a while now! Michael Marshelli convinces with a cosmic lush disco approach, giving the original’s smooth vocal the right treat.

The Düsseldorf duo BAR, consisting of Stabil Elite musician Lucas Croon and Christina Irrgang, released their debut album „Welcome To Bar“, a musical hybrid between New Wave, Balearic, Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Noir Songwriting, in June 2014 on Italic Recordings. Lucas Croon sings as if he had studied with Nick Cave, Brian Ferry and Chris Isaac. The lady at his side, Christina Irrgang, is no less elegant: Her timbre seems completely absorbed in the music, and yet it somehow floats above it, bold and cool. The effect is reminiscent of Claudia Brücken from the Düsseldorf synthpop band Propaganda, whose magical coldness was simply an extremely fascinating form of white soul.

"Welcome to BAR" is recorded, produced and emotionally arranged on various synthesizers, the drums, with film soundtrack samples, vocal collages and instruments such as the pocket piano, which Croon and Irrgang became aware of in Los Angeles through their acquaintance with Diva Dompé, the daughter of Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins. Passion can be felt in everything they say, sing and play. Passion for love, for nights in a neon glow, for dark pulsating bass lines, black and white romance, driving synth beats and the affectionately playful "À Rebours" – aestheticism with no objection to the natural.
