Sonny Ism is the Australian house artist born Xavier Bacash. After growing up in Melbourne where he played in soft rock bands, he moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where he began to throw parties and DJ alongside Kasper Marott and the Regelbau crew. ‘Bamboo Nights’ is a magnetic balearic house track, featuring infectious synths and catchy drum machine, destined to become an instant favorite.

Ravanelli Disco Club is a disco house label based in Marseille that was established 2019.  Over its three short years they have worked with key artists including Ron Basejam, Jimpster, JKriv, Cody Currie, Retromigration, Joe Corti, and Scruscru, with releases in the wings by Prins Thomas and Pete Herbert.

 

Next up on Ravanelli Disco Club comes slick French duo Palavas who hail from the sun-drenched coast of the South of France, somewhere between Montpellier and Marseille. Named after the Palavas resort - that was once the splendid queen of Mediterranean sandy beaches -  the AZZUR Records founders are the epitome of the French dolce vita! With previous releases on Toucan Sound and Future Disco, their music is an intoxicating blend of nostalgia and cosmic futurism that dazzles discerning dancefloors every weekend with their shimmering solar odyssey.

 

On ‘Déesse D'Été’ – which poetically translates to Summer Goddess - Palavas pay homage to the vibrant and infectious sound of the 80s, blending disco, funk, and new wave with a contemporary twist. This full-length journey provides us with a perfect summer soundtrack for the sunshine season, with upbeat rhythms and warm catchy melodies designed to get sun drenched bodies moving and grooving. Aura Safari's richly immersive Island Dreams album has been remixed by a selection of artists close to Hell Yeah. Ahead of them releasing their own originals on the label in 2025, SIRS, Calm, Dawn Again, Secret Soul Society and Aura Safari themselves all contribute to the collection which is out on 14 March.

First up, Japanese downtempo hero Calm offers up a signature Mellow Mellow Acid remix and dub version of 'Sur Mon Balconnet' that is smooth and zoned out as cosmic synths and gentle acid loops ripple next to whimsical reeds. New Balearic beat boss My Friend Dario's take on 'Riserva Naturale' is a percussive tropical jumble with lots of open space for deep thinking. Sirsounds Records label head SIRS returns to the label after his Woman EP earlier this year. He flips 'Wave Riding' into a loose-limbed and funky sound with 80s pads and well-treated vocal hooks. He also adds his own snappy drums and ass-wiggling basslines to 'Disco Mantra'.

Dawn Again dropped his widely acclaimed 'pubwave' album last year and has already backed it up with more escapist originals in 2025. His version of 'Wave Riding' casts you free from land and floats you out to sea on a raft of rubbery bass and widescreen synths. Secret Soul Society aka Cal Gibson, one-half of Nottingham's deep house and downtempo outfit Neon Heights back in the 2000s, steps up to rework 'Dancing in the Moonlight'. It's a dubbed out Afro disco number with playful horns and wobbly rhythms. Elsewhere Aura Safari rework several of their own originals with new dub versions that bliss them out for ever deeper dance floor trips.

This collection brings an array of new yet sympathetic perspectives to the still magical originals.

Ousanousava - Na De Milyon D'Annees (Manolo-J)

Deep&Disco is back with a remix package by singer Adeline Michèle, the Parisian-born front lady of the band Escort,with remixes by Kraak & Smaak, DJ Vas, JKriv and Dino Soccio.

Co-written and produced by JKriv, the original is a modern take on 80's mid-tempo R&B, think Chaka Khan meets Holy Ghost! Blending a deep bass line with shimmering synth textures, the infectious hook really shines a light on Adeline's formidable vocals. Kraak & Smaak rework the tune into a chilled-out new boogie affair, while DJ Vas and JKriv take things into deeper and darker territory with their mixes. Dino Soccio rounds out the package with sultry and warm west coast flavor.

Adeline Michèle has been leading disco band Escort since the release of their first eponymous album in 2011. With a new Escort record slated for an end of October release, and other lead up singles gaining serious attention in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and the NY Times magazine, Adeline is set to make some serious waves in 2015 and beyond.

“Redo:Remixed” will be available exclusively on Beatport on October 12th, then iTunes, Spotify and everywhere else by early November.
