Mikey V hails from & currently resides in Los Angeles, California USA!!

Mikey V is a producer, DJ and vocalist from Los Angeles, California who has been a staple in the West Coast underground house scene since 2006 & became mostly known for throwing the infamous HAWT underground parties!

By 2013, Mikey signed his first 3 EP's to Luke Solomon & Derrick Carter's Classic Music Company. He has compiled a versatile discography of productions and vocal releases on labels such as Classic Music Company, Dufflebag, Paradise, Robsoul, DFTD, Snatch!, Hot Creations, Toolroom, Strictly Rhythm & Dirtybird.
Mikey has also collaborated with industry heavyweights such as Riva Starr, Oliver Dollar, DJ Sneak, Phil Weeks, Blakkat, Wheats, Brett Johnson & Nathan Barato to name a few!

Currently Mikey V is still on his grind between Djing events, producing tracks, & having his own label and podcast known as Hawt Music & Hawtcast respectfully!!

This Seventy Eighth Installment of Undrcurrent Series is bringing you some serious Intergalactic Funk, Soul, House Grooves courtesy of...Soul Clap!!!

Soul Clap Is a duo founders Eli "Elyte" Goldstein and Charles "Cnyce" Levine aka Lonely C that originally hails from Boston Massachusetts that currently resides in parts of the USA!

Soul Clap was founded in Boston by Eli "Elyte" Goldstein and Charles "Cnyce" Levine aka Lonely C where they met in Boston in 2001, & soon they began throwing & hosting their own parties & deejaying on the underground club circuit including the infamous Midweek Techno & from there, they began steadily gathering their acclaim for creating bootlegs of RnB classics and house remixes, to which by 2007, they went out into the world to perform at places like The Marcy Hotel, Fabric, The Electric Pickle and Bar25 and in smaller places in America, Europe, Japan, Mars and places that haven´t been heard of. 

By 2008 Soul Clap began to release original tracks & remixes for the likes of Laid Back, Little Dragon, Metronomy, Robert Owens & more! They soon met the DJ duo Wolf + Lamb to begin mixing with them as they were all approached by !K7 for the Dj Kicks series & to tour with them  worldwide & from there got into the festivals worldwide.

By 2012 Soul Clap continues to grind from released their LP EFunk, & soon after launched Soul Clap Records.

Currently residing in Upstate New York & Miami, Soul Clap & their brand became synonymous with their budding collaboration with the creator of P-Funk himself, Mr. George Clinton and his C Kunspyruhzy record label & Detroit's annual Movement festival & afterparty of E Funk!

This Seventy Ninth Installment of Undrcurrent Series is bringing you some serious soulful house to lift up your spirits courtesy of Mr. Fowler!!!

Mr. Fowler is born & raised in N.E. Ohio & Currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio USA!!!

Mr. Fowler aka MNTL grew up in an area where art, music, and dance culture was not a thing.  When you get the bug to be in the entertainment & music industry, it's hard to get that bug out of your system once you catch it.

In the late 2010’s, Mr. Fowler was a former NBA dancer for the Cleveland Cavaliers dancing for many artist such as Coolio, Flo-Rida, Migos, and also for MLB All star weekend.  

By 2020, Mr. Fowler was curating events outside of Cleveland museum of art called “Groove Monday” which gave people the opportunity to come outside and just dance while being 6Ft away from one another. Fowler, soon joined the collective the Smooth Talk and curated monthly events called “Welcome Home” that has been going strong since 2021 giving people their brand of house music in Cleveland. 

Mr. Fowler is currently one third of Smooth Talk which is is a crew based in the Northeast Ohio Area that consists of Mr. Fowler along with Theo (DJ/Producer) & Milo B (DJ/Producer)which has collectively been making their presence widely known in Cleveland's underground house scene, Detroit house scene, & beyond which has booked many heavy hitters that have helped curate the house music scene into what it is today such as Kyle Hall, Jon Dixon, Ash Lauryn, Wajeed, Deon Jamar, Ian Pooley, Javontte, Patrice Scott, Isaac Prieto, Yukiko, Soul Clap, Silly girl Carmen, Mike Clark, DJ Minx and more.

Collectively as Smooth Talk, they've done a lot in a short period of time in the Cleveland, Ohio area, but as individuals they have been creating and performing for much longer & with that type of experience underneath their belts, you're in for a reeeeeal treat so get ready to get lifted!

Undrcurrent Mix Series 079- Mr. Fowler's SPIRITUAL WARFARE

This Eighth Installment of Undrcurrent mix series is bringing you the ultimate combination a Block, Church & Global vibes with a solid side of Soulful groove on this mix courtesy of....Parrish James!!!

Parrish James was born and raised in Detroit Michigan & currently resides in Los Angeles California!!

Parrish is the former half of dj/production/remix/songwriting aggregate: ‘Groove Junkies’. He was on board from 2000 through 2009.

He has contributed to the output on record labels such as Island/Def Jam, A&M, Warner Bros., RCA, J Records, Ultra, Defected, Definity, Om Records, and Buzzin’ Fly. Many of their original productions and remixes have been licensed to Defected, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound & OM among many others. As a result of Parrish’s work and contribution with the duo, not only has their music been featured on countless radio stations including: BBC, KCRW, KPWR & Ministry of Sound, they were also nominated for ‘Breakthrough DJ’ at the 2006 Ibiza DJ Awards, and ‘Breakthrough Producers’ at the 2005 London’s House Music Awards.

As a Remixer - he has remixed the likes of: Rihanna, Brunette (artist on Randy Jackson's label-YES, that's Randy Jackson of American Idol folks!!!) as well as Christine Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Pussycat Dolls, Deborah Cox & Leela James. Of late he’s producing a new single for Costa Rican superstar, Ericka Cruz. He completed remixes on the single for muti-talented vocalist, Nicki Richards (who travelled with Madonna on her MDNA Tour!), for which he also played all the instruments.

As a global DJ - he has 20 plus years experience. His travels extend to multiple cities across 6 different continents. Parrish has played extensively with gigs such as the world famous Pacha (Ibiza), multiple stints at the luxuriously stylish W-Hotel, Neighbourhood and Cherry Jam in London, Electric Daisy Festival, Detroit Electronic Music Festival as well as Trademark in Sydney, Australia. He also played the opening of SOLACE in Melbourne. He's rocked Hennessy VSOP red carpet events in Seoul, Korea and venues such as Republiq, Ku De Ta, Stereolab, & Famous Club among others in various parts of Asia. In Dubai he's hit Club 360. In South America, he's played Club Disco in Sao Paulo and Pacha Buzios, Brazil as well as Bogota, Colombia. Over the years he's hit several markets in the U.S. including Miami, San Francisco, San Jose, Denver, Washington D.C., Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, Chicago, Philadelphia, Honolulu & Maui.
