In the last few years, Gianni Romano, a celebrated Italian DJ and producer, has been rising fast across the Deep-Afro-Latin house scene. His unique sound has garnered him support from the world’s A-List DJs, including Diplo, Black Coffee, David Guetta, Themba and many more, as well as airplay on BBC Radio 1 and radio stations across the world.

Summer 2023 saw Gianni take his SWITCH brand to Ibiza for a 20-week residency at the legendary Blue Marlin. Guests included Reznik (Keinemusik), Caiiro, Enoo Napa, Moojo, Robin M, Maz, Francis Mercier and many more. 

The Switch founder’s collaborations with Emanuele Esposito have spawned several successful club records, including “La Manguelena”, “Nene Man Ni”, “Ay Como Haga”, and their monumental platinum-certified “It’s Not Right”.

Gianni reunites with his long-term friend Emanuele for their latest EP, ‘Sqnizz’. Across five distinct but tonally consistent tracks, Sqnizz is a celebration of deep, melodic, clubby vocal-led house music in all its engrossing glory, including the lead single “Possibilities & Harmonies”, which features the talented Tim Schou. 

Gianni and Emanuele have long been considered two of the most talented producers of house music, with their total views of 40 million+ across socials and more than 50 million streams going some way to illustrate their popularity. 

The EP includes collaborations with Helen Tesfazghi, Aura, Trick Beat, Thief Ndlaye, and Jamila. SQNIZZ is a testament to the power of partnership in creating rich musical worlds and compelling narratives influenced by Afro and Latin sounds.

Tracks like the rave-inspired Resilience and Treblesome maintain a raw energy, while cuts such as the uplifting For You and groove-laden Mamaia highlight her flair for creating emotionally charged club music.

With residencies at Ibiza’s Amnesia and Cova Santa, and her own Groovenation radio show on Ibiza Global Radio, she’s captivated audiences worldwide. Her current residency at D-Edge in São Paulo with her Unlocked party series solidifies her standing as a powerhouse in underground dance music.

Having graced stages at Fabric Madrid, Space Miami, Ultra Music Festival, Sunwaves, and Lollapalooza, Ribbe’s prolific career includes releases on respected labels such as Drumcode, Moon Harbour, and Circus. Since launching Agape Muzik in 2020, her music has earned support from industry heavyweights like The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, and Paco Osuna.

Phoenix is a testament to Ribbe’s artistry and resilience, capturing her journey through the universal language of music. With its blend of club-ready tracks and heartfelt melodies, the album is set to inspire listeners and dancers alike.
