Inspired by our love for hard-hitting club music with a darker edge, Seippelabel vol. 14 focuses on the powerful South African gqom genre. As always, we proudly showcase an international roster of artists with unique styles, ranging from pounding taxi kicks to more left-field interpretations of gqom. We are also thrilled to welcome back past contributors to our compilations, including Toby Davis, Darius, and ADEAD, alongside some exciting new additions to the lineup, such as Emo Kid, Puzzy Stack, B E N N, Dominowe, and KΣITO.

₪ "Spiral Club Cuts is an EP made with the club in mind, but without formulas. These are tools I use in my sets, some created alongside Mexican producers, with rhythms of my world side. Maybe it sounds like some kind of bass music, pop, and mixed with sadness. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really know how to make club music — I just try to create something I’d be excited to play on a big sound system. It's a feeling," tells us Mensik.

₪ As well as with other Mensik's projects, you can hear this sentimental feeling you have after the party, after the festival. It's something cold, but also very dreamy. And living in Mexico City, and also touring and DJing across the world, Mensik is putting all his experiences into the music.

Na Pista was born during a sweltering summer in Lisbon, as King Kami experimented with synths at a friend’s studio. What began as playful sessions evolved into a hard-hitting blend of aggressive Jersey club and breakbeat patterns, infused with nostalgic melodies from early 2000s funk brasileiro. The track also features energetic vocal samples from DJ Celly, adding a layer of club heat and Brazilian flair. The result is an electrifying, percussive anthem built for the dancefloor—where bass-heavy pressure, syncopated drums, and shimmering synth lines collide.

King Kami is a dynamic and forward-thinking DJ and producer, known for electrifying sets and genre-blurring productions. Her unique style weaves together funk brasileiro, breakbeat, electro, and volt mix, often incorporating elements of jungle and the nostalgic melodies of early 2000s Brazilian funk. Her music pulses with both raw energy and a playful, emotional edge, drawing inspiration from underground club scenes worldwide.

"The Palace" sees Ovid return to Flood for his third release with the label. The NY based artist comes packing a fully realised EP that fine tunes the mechanical layers of rhythm and gritty textural melodics synonymous with his production.

Below starts as new label with Aiko´s release, one of the top producers in the underground electronic music scene of Spain. With international releases behind him, "Near Here" was not going to be less level, with a couple of "autonomic" tracks. The music of this Valencian represents his many skills and knowledge for so many years. 

Currently based in Barcelona, ​​the project of Aiko was born in 2004 in the underground electronic scene of Valencia. Its beginnings were influenced by the Drum'n'Bass and the collective Ribera Junglist. 
He started producing Dubstep in 2010, evolving into a minimalist and retail style later, experimenting with simplicity and delights deep bass lovers. He is currently publishing references to Deep Drum'n'Bass on both national and international labels.
