‘Middle Age Man’ was composed on piano, as many of my songs seem to be these days. Musically, it's obviously a nod to ELO, and lyrically it self-mockingly reflects on some of the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that remind me of my age and my mortality.

Richard Campbell at @OrpheusStudio has done another amazing job of production and continues to be the generous ghost musician in the RockCounsellor song machine, without whom my life would be a world of musical frustration, bum notes, dodgy lead guitar playing, and drummer envy.

Please play this music at my funeral…

Resurrecting the Finnish project Aatos, as the summer closes in. This one has been hiding in the drawer for three years, once in a while calling for attention. Finally got it done.
