Lamarc started as a DJ at the age of 16 playing music in clubs in his hometown of Huesca, Spain. After the closure of these clubs, he has been more focused on his role as a producer, the last few years he has spent working in his small studio in Huesca, where he currently resides. Experimenting with synthesizers, sounds and always looking for better sound quality, learning through trial and error. 

His musical style has evolved to the current hypnotic techno. In May 2023 he saw the light of day with his first work published for the DZB Records label titled Road Of Crosses and recently Throbbing on WRD Records.

Alessio di Corrado, aka Talbot J, is an Italian Techno DJ, Producer and Sound Engineer based in Barcelona with a dark and groovy rhythmic stamp of underground music.

Having performed in well-know venues, such as Egg LDN and Fire&Lightbox Complex, the artist is highly motivated to push forward his career with the aim of boosting his skills both in DJ and music production fields. 

Lately on his productions, Talbot J has shown a particular interest in industrial music, with a sound that features dark harmonies, degraded percussive elements and syncopated rhythms, with influences that go from the British industrial techno to the Berlin hypnotic rhythm, followed by edgy bass-lines and futuristic/dreamy atmospheres. With his introductory music catalogue, Talbot J has been supported by international artists like Slam, Dave Clarke, Luke Slater, Ghost In The Machine, Arjun Vagale, Ancient Methods, Rebecca Delle Piane and more. 

His constant desire to know more about skills and techniques led him to participate to Rebekah's Weekend Warrior Challenge in collaboration with Patrick DSP. Since then, the artist focused more on the production side, hence making his first appearances on labels such as Insane Industry Recordings and DSTM Records.

Talbot J has always been fascinated by the power of music that can strongly connect people with each other. His early profound love in electronic music discovered through clubbing was just the first chapter for a constant morphology of music styles.

I am a musician specializing in minimal techno style, as well as an active DJ exploring various musical directions. My creativity is based on creating rhythmic collages of looping sounds and textures that create a hypnotic atmosphere. I also collect sounds from real life to incorporate into my music, giving it a unique and original feel.

My approach to minimal techno includes both live performance, using a computer and various instruments, and playing as a DJ, mixing recorded tracks and experimenting with tempo and keys. I am also passionate about various forms of techno, including light and atmospheric forms as well as darker and industrial manifestations.

But what do I want to say about techno? What did I understand about this musical phenomenon? Why does it attract my attention so much, what do I find in it? For me personally, Techno is a kind of moving sound structure; it has a special effect on the psyche and perception of a person, especially at high volume. It seems to crowd out other thoughts, drown them out, or make you think not about your problems or routine and something familiar, but about this incomprehensible, constantly changing carpet of sound that seems to be static.

So we can say that techno is a powerful irritant that our psyche wants to grab onto, wants as if it were something permanent, wants to unravel, because there are so many identical patterns, such clear and simple rhythms, but something always slips out of sight, the feeling that you are in the theater and something happens behind the scenes, before it ends, a new skyscraper has appeared in its place, a new construction site, skilled builders are already hammering in a new part with their ringing hammers, you get the feeling that you have understood the rhythm or emotional message, but then new ones appear elements and everything need to be understood anew... and again you are fooled by skillful and cunning jugglers, traveling clowns in the city square. Techno hypnotizes me so much, it’s a new technological mysticism! Hey, what gods are we praying to this time?...

Superstar DJs John Digweed, Danny Howells, Danny Tenaglia and Pete Tong were among the first to champion the Stephane K sound and made it an international sensation. What was "the new sound of New York" has gone well beyond the banks of this metropolis and is now a global craze.
