This project was inspired by the brave girls and women of Iran who, after the tragic death of Mahsa Amini on September 16th, have taken to the streets across the country protesting 43 years of female oppression imposed by the Islamic Republic. Although we come from different places and may speak different languages, our demands for freedom and justice are the same. This transmission was created illuminate, educate, and amplify female voices of resistance.
