After collaborating on some remixes @DistalVision and @Hentopan108 decided to create something unique together. It all started with an urge to return to authentic tribal feelings. Hentopan recorded his shaman drum and soon a song texture appeared when DistalVision mangled this into a beat track.
From this point forward it was clear for Hentopan the track had to be a dedication to New Zealand and it's Maori heritage. He sampled Hakas from several recordings. Together DistalVision and Hentopan kept adding instrumental and electronic elements until the story was complete. A story of ancestral knowledge and indigenous uprising. Of unification between east and west, between old and new, between organic and electronic. A call out for non dual living and the true warrior spirit.
