The brainchild of two musical figures that hail from the concrete jungle of Istanbul, Bärtaub's musical trail is beginning to make waves across the world of minimalist music. Members Mutlu San & Batu Güler are both deep appreciators of the house & techno movement and accomplished producers in their own right. Mutlu draws his influence from the sounds of spheres from different cultures, as well as pursuing an obsession with wires and analogue hardware sequencers. Batu's high standing in Istanbul's underground community goes back to the mid-2000s, being an instrumental force in kickstarting Indigo Club, whilst holding residencies in the cities nest clubs, Wake Up Call, and Suma Beach. 

As a duo, their compositions are blessed by a perpetual, spacious, and moving nature. Triggering a balanced output that is both danceable and musically off the wall. Combining energy and grooves with minimal textures and raw analog overlays. Their measured, drip-fed output of releases continues to tease fans. Having already signed prized cuts to @paragram-records, @Otherside_thirdeyemusic, and most notably, mighty London imprint @R-Srecords. Whatever the flavour though, with the Bärtaub stamp behind it you are guaranteed a sonic journey of epic proportions that is both intimate and exciting.
