He has published two books in the style of Pound’s Cantos, ‘Three Antiphonies’ and ‘Fernparallelismus’.

He has also published a series of 88 monologues, ‘The Gospel According to Simon Kananaios: A Meditation on Empire’ based on the Anglo/Welsh poet David Jones’ monologues of a Roman principalis in his volume ‘The Sleeping Lord’.  
Carlo has a forthcoming epic poem about a fictitious First Century Roman cynic philosopher called ‘Canus Ictus in Exilium’ (Dog Bite in Exile). 
His work, generally excerpted, has appeared in a number of journals including Exquisite Corpse, Make It New, Brave New Word and Science as Culture. 
He has performed his work, especially ‘The Gospel’ at dozens of venues including the Boog Poetry Festival, The National Beat Poetry Festival, The Bowery Poetry Club and Busboys and Poets in Washington, DC.

Sunday April 21st 2024 at the World innovation and creativity day.

As an artist, Dustin Pickering (poet, author and narrator) is fascinated by the cathartic powers of love as a universal expression of the finest beauty. 
In this presentation ‘Love Pirate’, Frédéric Iriarte (composer and visual artist) and Dustin Pickering delve into this topic of love’s ancient power to bind and loosen energies. 
As a pirate the speaker is on a quest, sometimes finding himself where he is not wanted. 
Musically, the project reflects the atmosphere of gentle water and singing birds. Even a passing train makes the rounds in the array of sounds. 
Frédéric Iriarte approached Dustin Pickering for collaboration and Dustin chose recent poems, including “Calhoun”, a poem named after research scientist John B. Calhoun. 
The poem reflects an environment of decadence that collapses and a social order of callous self-interest. Human relationships fall into the “behavioral sink” while the best among us isolate. I also embrace my own illness in “Depression” which is part of my ongoing mental health struggle. 
Each poem and its accompanying musical rendition present thoughtful and engaging dialogue with the contemporary need of each of us to heal internally.

The concept of this album is based on monologue meditations written by Igor Goldkind (Author, Poet) during the 2020 pandemic crisis.

The intention is  to transform the negative effects of the global crisis into a hopeful creative  statement.

A state of mind, a manifesto of actualisation  through meditation.

Monologue, poetry, aphorisms and  likewise political expressions all aimed at better understanding.

The good and the bad, the sacred and the profane, life and death are focuses  in this album.  A contemplative balance for a better world.  an utopic world or just the world as it should be, plenty of creativity and no hidding words.

Just the truth,  as Igor would say, will set you free.  

Improvisations expérimental and composed multimédia interactions through the words and sounds.

A witness account of our time.

* Lefifi Tladi The thinker, poet and painter, Lefifi Tladi was born in 1949 in the culturally vibrant township of Lady Selborne in Pretoria. The township fell victim to apartheid’s forced removals as a so-called Black spot. A Black spot was an area of land that Black people bought legally in what the government considered as White South Africa. People who lived in Black spots were told to leave their places and later removed forcefully to make way for White people.
