Thank God for Liam Hawlet and The Prodigy! I was just a teenager when this album appeared and changed my perception and music taste forever

Unlike the previous two mashups, this one is more of a - hopefully still elaborate - joke. Both The Prodigy's "The Big Gundown" and Fatboy Slim's "Weapon Of Choice" feature a similar rhythm so it was obvious to throw them into the same bin. Hear you next month!  :)

Nightmare

I turned 33 this year, and seeing as I first discovered The Prodigy when I was 13, I thought it was about time I celebrated my life defining moment of finding XLC-26 down my local Woolie's with an all encompassing set of Prodigy mixes.

That second track on Everybody In The Place, G-Force, blew me away when I heard it.
It was solely responsible for getting me into Rave/Old School, and subsequently, Techno.
The sleeve is a bit battered and covered in a bit of coffee, the plastic cover is cracked, and I don't even have a tape deck anymore.
But it's a great reminder of a defining period of my life, discovering The Prodigy.

So anyway, here's part one of a three part celebration of their awesomeness.
Parts two and three may be some time.
